Well its a two dog race. Pat Mahomes 3500 30TD 2 INt vs Aaron Rodgers 3100 33TD 4Int + Today 250yard and 3. Rodgers has a path to 50 TD's and even though he's a full 400 yards behind Mahomes if he gets to 50 I could see them gifting the award to Rodgers.

I think PFF is an augmentative tool to evaluate. Nothing more and nothing less. I felt their grades of our Oline are graciously too high. Mahones bails them out often because they get beat a lot. My issue is they believe they are the end all be all of evaluations and they won’t acknowledge any deviation or inerrancy. All the talk about Mahones and their ridiculous ranking of Frank Clark. Ask oline man about Frank and ask other defensive lineman about our iol. They will rank Clark as someone they don’t want to see and our IOL as a gift from the football gods.

Curious what their criteria is/was? I noticed the PFF ranks before the Bucs game and I thought they were generous.

Yeah, I saw that and got a little excited. I don't expect him and Rankins to be all pros but its not hard to improve on what we've been running out there.

Is Spags LB responsibilities and assignments that complex? I thought Matt House was suppose to be a great LB coach. It is curious and I do think the net positive for Gay would be better than whatever we are getting from Niemann. Even if the other team knows we put in Gay to merely blitz, I think having the superior athlete and better player trumps Niemann knowledge of the system but far inferior ability. But hey that's why i'm here posting on a site at 2 am lol.

He has turned it on and I'm curious if he can make a legit run at 50 again? Needs 4 a game which seems unlikely but with the way he's playing nothing seems out of reach.

Baker, Sneed and Ward with Fenton and Keyes as depth looks solid to me. Shoot on paper it looks better than anything we've had the past 4-5 years. If Baker can get things figured out it could be one of the better corps in the AFC.

My logical mind completely understands this, but the emotional irrational fan comes out when I watch the guy in front of him, who is supposedly intelligent and knows where to be yada yada, run around looking lost and playing even worse makes it difficult to stomach. What little i've seen of Gay I think he has a promising future here, can't wait till he an get on the field for a majority of the snaps.

I grew up in Lamar, MO but eventually moved to Alabama and now overseas. I come home next year for a full year and was curious if any of you guys get together before, during, or after games? I know a few of y'all live away from KC but was curious how many of y'all know each other in person and if any of y'all make it a point to get together when possible. Would be nice to put a face with the handle.

I’d like to see him a little to know what we have going into next year but like other said we got a first round talent for nothing. Helps being the best. Crazy to think the Pats enjoyed this for the better part of two decades and realizing how hard it is to catch breaks when you are bad.

Sneed, Fenton, Baker, & Keyes will all definitely be here next year. Ward could be back i think on a 3m dollar deal since he is a RFA if we want him and at that price I think you bring him back if nothing else for depth. Hoping Breeland balls out to end the season and gets himself a fat contract. We should keep drafting a DB in the mid to late rounds to develop though.

I'm willing to bet we allow him to test the market but he won't even make what he's making this year. I think a 3/24 type deal could be worked out but at what point do you invest in the future because we need good production there without breaking the bank as many of these big contracts start hitting this offseason. Losing Robinson who knows all the positions and blocks well puts us in a bind. Pringle is a good #5 but he didn't do much in Watkins absence. Might need to parlay both some of those comp picks this year and move up for a wr to develop.

The Bucs are vulnerable each and every week. Brady folds under pressure. While they have arguably just as talented if not more talented overall offensive weapons Brady isn't Mahomes. Their D is good but they have been spanked a by a couple teams. I don't see them in the SB. Hope I'm wrong. Would love to see them there and Mahomes take the lead in the series while taking his 2 SB in 3 years as a starter and sending Brady off to retirement.

You know its bad when Romo even comments that it seems like these are make up calls. Make up calls for what? Brady has been the beneficiary of those hands to the head for years and it was clear as day JPP hit Mahomes. I could see the makeup calls if it was a CJ call from the AFC championship game where he never touched him.
