The more I’ve thought about it what does RSJ provide? He’s not a blocker he is a bigger yet slower WR who had a weird offseason to try and learn the system. He’s only here for insurance. T. Thompson is more concerning as it means Watts is active.

I don’t view him as a savior but he knows the offense and that alone makes him more valuable than Witzmann or Danny Ice. Obviously it depends on his healthy but would be a good stash until playoffs if he needs more time to recover.

That’s great news about Rankins. There was some thought he could be done for the year. I think he can take Wylie’s spot like he did last year and improve our Oline play before the playoffs. It’s always a gamble holding guys out but we need Schwartz, Watkins healthy for the stretch run and Clark too. I think our team is good enough to get the W vs the Panthers.

I do understand the cap ramifications but losing out on a back to back SB for a 5-6 million dollars isn't good business either. And I and most of us here could make the argument that adding one big upgrade at LB might be all the difference. That same argument could be said for another IOL as well. But with only 33 guys under contract there is only so much you can do. Cut Henne (1.5), Damien Williams (2), Rework HB because he due to cost 19 against the cap, and my guess is try and trade Eric Fisher because he's an 11 million dollar cut candidate. Still only gets us down enough to draft a rookie class and maybe one 3-4 million dollar FA. Glad guys like Sneed, Allegretti, and Wharton are stepping up this year. I think we have enough to win it but I sure to wish we would have addressed LB in FA better. Makes me throw up in my mouth thinking about Spags trying to talk up Niemann in camp this year.

That's hard to put into perspective because he's liable to have twice that many before it's all said and done. If he can stay healthy long enough, what does he need to do to make the HOF?

2300 yards 21 TD's 1 Int and 67% We have the easiest remaining schedule in the league so it wouldn't be a stretch to say he ends up with 4600-5000 yards 42-45 TD's and 2-5 Ints. Depending on what Wilson does because they have no defense, Mahomes could nab another one if he starts lighting it up.

Gotta say Pringle had a great game last week and then missed some opportunities today. Looks like all the talk lit a fire under Hardman. He had a nice game even if you take away his TD.

I get that ST is important but keeping guys strictly on the team for ST that have no ceiling or value anywhere else seems pointless unless they are really really good....like Pro Bowl caliber players. Yet we keep DOD, Kemp, Niemann on this team and I have to believe there are talented guys trying to make the roster who have positional value as well.

Mahomes carrying Hill off the field is must-see tv. Those guys look like they are having a blast. They genuinely love being together. As much as I complain 35-9 is a good week. Hopefully Hill and Hardman aren't hurt too bad.
