Again our LB's are a huge liability. Wilson couldn't disengage and Harris ripped off that huge run. We got some very favorably calls tonight and Mahomes didn't look particularly sharp. BB deserves credit for this. Our C is meh and our RG is replacement-level player. Not sure why we kept trying to run up the gut on our right side. We came out lethargic but found a way to win. Taco has to be earning more and more reps. He's the 2nd best end and it's not close. Like others have said, your not gonna be dominant every game and destroy teams every single week. We won by 26 and made numerous errors ourselves (Watkins fumble). I'll take the win and no major injuries and move on to next week.

This season is happening. These guys will get it, quarantine for a couple weeks and return. Worse case is they push the season back which they have the luxury of doing. To much money on the line. The only reason this season gets cancelled is if multiple players die from it.

Not sure I would say we laid an egg va Herbert. Kid looks like a real franchise qb. House and Stidham aren’t in that league. We will be fine if our LBs can tackle and build on the Balt game.

3 games in 9 days is asking for a major injury. I’d already be starting that request if I was KC.

Any season is better than no season. Look for the SB to be first of March.

I felt like the NFL knew about this and was why his original suspension wasn’t reduced. This is just a hunch. Hopefully it’s 4 and that’s it.

Gonna be hard for their D to generate pass rush with just 4 which doesn't bode well for them. But they have a true shut down corner and BB who is a genius on that side of the ball. He will make it challenging at least. Offensively Cam might not be elite but he's good enough to make it tough on our LB's and I guarantee you that BB is going to focus on our piss poor unit. We should beat them by 14 but never know. I'm interested to see how we look after we smoked Balt. I think major letdowns are a thing of the past. The D is still hungry to prove people wrong and our O seems to be clicking.

Well Breeland can breath a sigh of relief for a couple weeks. At least we can get him back for the playoff push.

How long till a guy like Madison gets a DC shot?

In a big game his losing contain on that kick off return hurt also. Bad game overall for a player who hasn’t shown a whole lot. For a late round pick he still has value.

My biggest issue with those type of guys is they spend most of their rookie contract getting it figured out, meaning your getting one good year before you have to make a sizable decision on them financially. Kpass for instance, if he ends up with 10 sacks this year he's gonna get back in FA and what did we get for our 2nd round pick? 1 really good year and 3 meh years. Not saying we should stop drafting high ceiling guys but we have shelled out a lot of big contracts and our success will be determined by how well we can fill in the gaps with those rookies. Rookies not seeing the field, especially 2nd rounders sting a little. This is an odd offseason though and I don't think this is a multi year figure it out kind of example. Once he gets it figured out the guy is gonna be a stud best case and way better than what we have in the worse case. I'll give him time. Hardman could turn it around but guys who can't run great route at this point, don't have a great track record of learning. Hill is one of those exception but his agility and quickness are on another level. Kpass and Speaks weren't great draft choices regardless of what Kpass does this year. Gotta have those 2nd rounders stepping up worse case 2nd year and being starters. Veach has hit on so many other picks in lower rounds it hasn't effected overall talent of this team so far. I'm far more upset that they didn't address the position in FA. Ben Nieman should have been replaced....don't care if he's a good ST player. I'm tired of Toub having so much say on this roster because ST is only good because we have a great kicker and had a great punter and returner. The other areas are not so great lately.

Just rewatched the game last night vs the Chargers. Hate to keep kicking a dead horse but Ben Nieman and Sorensen should have been replaced in the offseason or at least moved down on the depth chart. I understand Sorensen had a few plays that probably helped us advance and I'm forever grateful but you can't build a dynasty in this league by being sentimental. Both of those guys missed tackle after tackle and Nieman is so tentative and stiff its hard to watch. If Spags doesn't make some changes we are going to get ate up by the Ravens. Better quarterback than last week, better running backs overall than last week and Mark Andrews is ever bit as good as Hunter Henry. I watched LJ a bit and he looks improved in his passing this year. Not saying he's all pro or anything but he has improved. Overall we have improved, but the one area we haven't is at LB and there is a case to be made we are worse. I could see us getting beat if our Offense struggles. What we have going for us is, we finally get to face off against a team without elite pass rushers and Pat thrives off blitzing teams so if our O can get its act together and jump out early we can mask our lb deficiencies.

I still cannot believe we didn't add a single vet to this LB unit. Gay will probably be a starter as some point but we had to know what we had in the three coming back. Sheesh they are hot garbage. I bet Veach cannot wait to can Hitchens and that horrendous contract. Crazy to think I really really miss Reggie Ragland.

As good as the Balt Ravens Dline is they aren’t as good as the Chargers when it comes pass rush. Calais is a monster but he is getting up there in age. Our Oline will have to play better to win because the Balt offense will capitalize on the mistakes our D makes unlike the Chargers. Will be a fun game to watch. Chiefs in a nail biter 28-27.

I know Mahomes is amazing and definitely needs weapons, but weapons are moot if he has no time to find them or they have no time to get open. If we don't get better on the Oline we might be looking at a repeat of the Aaron Rodgers in GB years. Gotta invest heavily in that Oline. I'll be honest. I think our defensive coaching staff (outside of the lb corp up to this point) has and will continue to develop mid round picks into competent starters. I don't have nearly as much faith in Andy Heck in developing Olineman. Who have we developed so far? Is Larry Warfard still available. If Schwartz and Fisher can't keep guys off him at least push them around him and give him a pocket to step into.

Gotta be demoralizing to play your A+ game and catch the Chiefs playing C ball and still lose. We shot ourselves in the foot so many times. Glad we scrambled a win.
