  1. To late to bring Warford in? Or has Wylie played good so far?
  2. I knew Bosa was a handful but everyone? Is anyone blocking good?
  3. Bro what’s up with the O? I can’t watch but gamecast has Mahomes like 1 for 8? Bad throws, drops, great d? What gives?
  4. What’s up with the O. Can’t watch the game having to gamecast it
  5. Hurts most with Kelce more than likely. He is one of only a handful of guys athletically that can remotely cover Kelce one on one.
  6. 35-17. Losing Derwin James really weakens that secondary.
  7. I definitely don't want to be a debbie downer but I view Hardman more as a luxury piece for this offense. His speed makes him a weapon but I'm not sure he is ever going to be what some on this board hopes he becomes. His route running needs work and while he's super-fast he's not super quick. I believe that is why they were rumored to want Henry Ruggs in this draft and were willing to move up if he fell to a certain point. At that point, we had already reworked Sammy's deal so why would we want another super fast wr who is a better route runner? I hope I am dead wrong it shouldn't be that hard to beat out a guy this team wasn't even interested in bringing back until no one else wanted him for a vet minimum deal. I know I do this with Gay but like some of y'all have said, these coaches want to run it back and they aren't making decisions on what we like or want but rather what's best for the team. I hate to hear that about Gay because I hope he is special but at the end of the day we really don't know how any of these draft picks are going to pan out.
  8. I understand that and that very well might be the case. I trust Spags and he did an incredible job last year and outside of LB we look solid in every area and great at pass rush. The one issue I have is them talking up the LB's in the preseason and then watching them look so horrible. To me it isn't just a weakness but a glaring hole. Interested to see if he gets some run next game vs the Chargers.
  9. Don’t recall the Balt D as being basic or simple and Queen didn’t play much in college either. Get him on the field and let Hitchens get him lined up right then let the kids go. Like others said at least in garbage time let him see the field.
  10. Yeah Brady and Brees are falling off the cliff imo. Father time is undefeated!
  11. Didn't he start off with a sack then a strip in a span of a couple of plays? He definitely looked good.
  12. After watching Patrick Queen get some run with Balt, I’d like to see some sink or swim Gay next week. Let him play and let him make mistakes, we are good enough as a team to cover them. We will need him come playoff time. Balt looks stout and Gay is one of the few NFL LBs that can spy him. Our three LBs combined for a 93 PFF grade......three guys off the street could do that.
  13. New England is a unique situation whereas both HC and QB are vying for GOAT status. Ironically neither would be in that convo without each other but they also minimize microscopically each other’s achievements. So there is a mutual desire to do it separately. We don’t and won’t have that issue here unless Reid never retires and even then Reid isn’t like BB.
  14. They committed to the run even though they were down 31-7 and inspite of our lbs held them in check. Gonna be hard for any team to keep up with this O. We could have hung 50 on those guys last night. Barring injury we are a juggernaut.
  15. While that is very possible, he also benefits greatly from running against a light box. I still think most defenses have to focus on stopping Hill, Kelce and the ability to strike deep and quick, which will provide CEH incredible opportunities. With that said, you are 100% right that Thursday night was incredible and amazing! I believe he is going to have opportunities to break records if Andy keeps utilizing him like he did last night.
  16. No I remember that xen, and he did go against Watt most of the game so there is that as well. I'm willing to give him a couple games but I do think Rankins has more upside.
  17. Wylie is the weak link on our Oline. Interested to see if Rankins can take his spot when he gets back.
  18. Yeah, pointing out our LB unit is awful is not saying they can't have a decent game here or there but listing the 49ers and the Titans as your glowing example of their potential leads me to mention both those teams passing attacks aren't scary at all. Ragland was reasonably stout vs the run but I remember a lot of the Dline stopping those plays more so than our LB's hitting the holes. Last night we allowed the running back to get through the hole and we were still tentative. Can't get off blocks and slow as molasses. I'm just surprised we threw all our eggs into a 2nd rounder to fix that position that was clearly the weakest link last year. DOD outplayed the starters in 5 flipping snaps lol. Will we be fine? I'm sure we will and like others have mentioned we don't need superstars at every position, but we have replacement-level players. Hitchens can't be replaced easily but the 5th lb spot could have been replaced with a potential starter. Time will tell and we can hope lack of reps in camp is part of the culprit, but I don't have much faith.
  19. I don't think it's harsh at all. This is year two in the system. We didn't win the SB because of those LB's we won the SB in spite of those LBs.
  20. I was holding out hope that Ben Niemann's play had improved......I was severely disappointed. I'm giving this 2-3 more games and Gay will be in there a lot more...sink or swim. Still concerned we didn't address this position more than just a 2nd round rookie. Sheesh they are bad. With that said our defense overall was good enough to hold them to 7 meaningful points before we went all vanilla
