What would be the rationale for redoing his contract? Not saying I don't disagree but does it give us an advantage to cutting him this year while pushing some dead money towards next year or was it done just for the draft weekend?

Last year they gave a udfa a bonus/contract for 100k which was one of the largest ever if my memory serves me correct. This year they gave two contracts/bonuses over 100k to Williams and Durant. I think he's a dark horse to make the roster, depends what they think about Allegretti.

OL Fisher, Rankins, Reiter, LDT, Schwartz Remmers, Wylie, Niang, and Williams for 9 OL. Remmers for his experience at multiple positions. I think Williams the udfa has a chance to make it because he's a C/G. Sherman wins over Lovett because of ST. Kinda like Nieman probably makes the roster for ST alone as much as I hate that. I think they will keep 6 WR's as to get a young guy experience for next year. Hill, Watkins, Hardman, Robinson, Pringle, and Lipscomb

Watched the Chiefs post draft conference with Kissel and Holtmus and they kept saying the Michigan coaches kept bringing up Danna when scouts were looking at Uche. I think he bulked up too much and played out of position. Veach said he was a stud in 2018 at 250lbs. I hated it at first but I'm gonna give it some time. Like many of y'all said, gonna be hard for those guys this year with no offseason to get acclimated. Look for him to get stashed on IR.

He’s got ability just not sure why he couldn’t see more of the field last year especially over Nieman. Oh well, I’m glad we are churning the bottom of the roster looking for starters and gems.

Yeah I think we keep Darrel for the short yardage back and Darwin for a change of pace but Williams and Helaire will get the lions share. I look for us to upgrade Nieman or Dod between now and season.

Yeah I think both of their bonuses make it fairly obvious they really like both guys. Wouldn’t surprise me if one of them make the final 53.
