  1. While I’m disappointed that Queen is gone, there are some stuff left. Yetur, A.J., Xavier, Kristian Fulton, Erza Cleveland, Baun, and Gladney. We really need to trade back if at all possible.
  2. With Nnadi, Pennel, and Saunders I think Epenesa is more likely.
  3. After that view looks like Balt or Tenn is already telling Queen hell get picked. Doesn’t look good for him falling.
  4. 2 hurdles left for Queen. Something seems off about him because after the combine he was listed as a potential 10-15 pick. With so many great players left I think we try and trade back. Any team wanting a qb better be proactive...maybe that helps us.
  5. The next 9 picks gonna suck to watch....already lost 2 of my favs for 32
  6. Well there goes Kenneth Murray....stinking Chargers
  7. A lot of good players would have to be cut to get under that kind of cap hit. I agree that something would have to be put in place for a circumstance like that.
  8. I don't necessarily agree. There has been some nuggets and takes from the media but with the pandemic going on, Tom Brady swapping teams and no offseason there hasn't been much to report or talk about. We have made little to no moves in FA that would interest anyone outside of the KC fan base. I actually like the fact that the media hasn't blown smoke up our butt all offseason. We crossed the first difficult hurdle by winning the big one, but an even bigger hurdle is doing it consistently and not allowing distractions to derail things. I knew we had the talent but can the talent do it while being the favorite year in and year out now? That's a lot of pressure. As far as I'm concerned, let them disrespect us for as long as possible and give this team something to fight for. Because there is coming a day when there will be constant praise and I hope our guys can ignore that and stay focused on the incredible opportunity at hand.
  9. I'd take an 8th round pick for him at this point. I actually think he's a candidate for a post June cut to free up money for Mahomes. But no need to cut him now until you see what you got after the draft and FA.
  10. If we trade Jones during the draft I don't believe any of us will like the value we get. I for one don't want us trading picks from next years draft. At some point you gonna hit on good players in the draft to keep this thing going. This isn't a back to back ride off into the sunset kind of thing. This is a window to possibly go down as one of the greatest of all time......Andy, Mahomes, Veach and 5-6 players have potential HOF legacies if this thing plays out like it should. I don't think Veach for one second is thinking about cashing in for this year. He might be aggressive to get a final piece but I dont' think he's mortgaging the future to do it.
  11. Not sure what to think about this. I don’t like restructuring avg players. It just kicks the proverbial can down the road (eg Anthony Hitchens). My hope is something was wrong with him last year or we’ve already worked out a trade.
  12. Ruggs is fast but he doesn’t have the same quickness and it’s not even close. Jeudy is more elusive than Ruggs. Not trying to say Ruggs isn’t good..he’s really good, but he’s not in Hills league. Watch Ruggs highlights, he’s just running past guys. The Alabama wr that is making cuts on a dime is Jeudy. With that said I don’t want either in the AFC west but both teams love him.
  13. I think at 44 he's still probably better than Blake Bell and Deon Yelder.
  14. They are all good wrs but I don’t get this Ruggs over Jeudy conversation. He’s faster for sure but Jeudy is the guy who brings the whole package. His stutter/juke step is out of this world. His routes are amazing and he was the focal point for defenses. Ruggs is good but there is no way id take home over Jeudy or Lamb.
  15. Have you seen Jeudy? Dude played out and in and he’s the quickest out of all of them. Has speed, is the most elusive out of that group. His one down side is occasionally he has a few drops similar to Kelce.
  16. For everyone bagging on Ford, the 49ers D wasn't the same without him. He is a one trick pony but that one trick is pretty darn good. Couple that with Buckner, Armstead and Bosa and that was by far the best Dline in the NFL. Remove Buckner and Ford and Bosa's life just got a lot harder and their D is gonna suffer badly for it. I truly believe their secondary looked a lot better because of all that pressure up front. It's why I've changed my mind about Jones. Figure out how to pay him and keep the pressure up front constant, then the players behind them don't all have to be elite to function well. Like someone else said, I would have dealt Ford before dealing Buckner...now they will probably lose both. If they don't address it they wont be back to the SB.
  17. I actually think we are in a good spot to get a good player. I think there are players in that top tier of talent all the way up to the mid 40's, but the 49ers could try and trade that 2nd 1st rounder they have to do the same and they need picks actually worse than we do so they might take less to do that.
  18. What if Jefferson fell to 32 assuming Queen, Ruiz and Fulton are off the board. Do you pull the trigger? I think you do.
  19. It will affect both of us when we have to shell out those contracts. Drafting and creative FA moves will be the key.
  20. I confess I was one of those negative nancies.
  21. There are others close to being as fast as Hill but what sets him apart is his quickness. I don't think Ruggs is even close to as elusive and quick as Hill. Ruggs is lightning fast but if you watch Alabama Jeudy is the most elusive wr on the team with his quick feet. This is coming from a huge Bama fan. I would love him but wouldn't want to give up our 2nd and a pick next year to move up for a WR. We could sit back or trade back and nab a very good wr in the 32-45 range.
  22. I think he sits. He was already going to sit last year but that rule would have negated a year on his contract. Maybe he won't sit the entire year but I could see him sitting the first month or so and remember you can't trade a player who hasn't signed the Franchise Tag which gives him a little leverage on where he could be traded. I hope you are right though and he comes to play. We need him!
