I know you love this team. I have certainly had those moments in years past but every team, even the great ones, lose games they shouldn't. Winning 16 in a row against a division opponent will turn a dumpster fire org into a hungry and fiery football team. Couple it with a clear example of Murphy's law and its a recipe for a loss. Today I have come to terms with Moore being a bust and the wr room needing help. I believed in their potential like I think Veach did, but today its clear we don't have any consistent wr on this roster outside of maybe Watson. Time to go get someone. Dhop would cost us a 3rd but he is a two year option so he could stabilize the wr room while Rice develops. Would hate to miss out on another SB because our wr room did what they did today in the playoffs.

Yeah he was. I think Mahomes being sick affected him more that he probably wanted to admit. It was a tough throw when healthy. I don't think he even looks to Moore unless he absolutely has to (the TD ball that Moore couldn't catch).

Its a been a point of contention with Mahomes for the past two years with MVS and Moore.

I went back and looked at that drive. Rushed it once for 5 yards and then got a first down. 1st down Rice dropped what would have been a huge gain. Not a good spot to run on 2nd and 10. Gained the first to Watson. 1st down rushed with Hardman for 3. Penalty of 12 men on field pushed it to 2nd and 12. Not a spot to run. Passed to Pacheco for 5. 3rd and 7. Incomplete. Not sure were they could have runned it more. I didn't mind any of those play selections except for the deep ball incompletion to Watson. Then it was 21-9 with 10;30 left in the game. With how they were running the ball we had to score relatively quick so again no time to run the ball. I think Andy thought we could come in with a vanilla game plan and run it on the and when it didn't work early on we gave up and got behind and then everyone that could go wrong did. Murphy was apparently signed to the PS yesterday or something.

I think Kyle is a good coach. He had Brock Purdy in the MVP convo. But at the end of the day Brock is a game manager and is no where near elite. Hard to beat good teams with guys like that at QB.

Fair? Hardman and Juju have done nothing this year on worse teams. There is no difference in overall talent between the groups imo. We were 6-1 before today and that loss was fluky as well. We lost today because our qb had the flu and Andy Reid called a terrible game plan and the Denver Broncos pulled out all the stops to win their regular season SB. Hate to lose but we are 6-2. We will be fine.

Meh. Their running the ball had little to do with us losing the game. Bolton would have helped but he would have been a liability vs McLaughlin's speed. I just think our ST and O put our D in horrible positions all day and the D played well all things considered.

Sometimes loses can be blessings in disguise. I mean we had 4 TO's and the Broncos started at mid field almost every possession and we still had a legit chance to win with 8:30 minutes left in the game. That speaks to how tough it is to beat our team. You need 5 TO's, Mahomes to have the Flu, and a couple key drops to even have a chance.

Teams like ours and the Pats view these as just another game. To KC then and Denver now those are the SB. They mean very little to elite teams. They are on to the next week. Sucks to lose like this but it happens. We could lose to the Dolphins next week but I'm willing to bet we play way better.

Oh so please explain the 20 games we have won since we traded Hill then?

Nah. It happens. We lose an unexplicable game every year. We will be fine. Mahomes having the flu is a big deal. Also every possible mental mistake and error happened in one game. Sucks, especially to an ugly bad team but we did this vs the Colts last year. Andy Reid had a horrible game plan, called a horrible game and everyone on O played like dog crap out side of Kelce and Mahomes minus that INT. If this game forces Veach to go get Dhop then it was worth it.

I mean a muff isn't bad enough....he losses us 15 yards in 2 seconds. All you can do is laugh. Can't win them all. Mahomes sick, 4 TO's. And yet we are still in this .

Whats crazy is we still have a chance if the D can get off the field here.

They have Bonitto speed rushing. If our O didn't crap the bed earlier we could run the ball down their throat.

On review that was a perfectly thrown ball and the D barely touched his elbow. Neither hand even came close to corralling that. Hate to say it but Moore is a bust.

I think they are picking on him at this point but yeah he is doing his best to keep Denver on the field. Just play football and keep your hands off. I don't think Wilson is good enough and Sneed is good enough to be in good position. He isn't lock down and doesn't have to be. Sheesh what an ugly game.

100%. Just saying if we keep playing like we are on O we will lose unfortunately. Only takes one good series to get the O on track though so here is to hoping the next series is one of those. Lets go Chiefs!
