Antonio Gibson. Only has 34 career rushing attempts and looks like a developmental slot according the nfl.com bio. I'm down in the later rounds but hard to imagine a 4.39 guy lasting until the 4th. At this point we don't need developmental wr's in the first 3 rounds, we need someone to step in right away and push Mecole if we are going to use a pick in the first 3 rounds at wr. Unless Veach finds a way to keep Watkins, Jones and give Mahomes that new deal then sign me up for a high upside developmental guy.

I think we are making too much of that statement. His agent probably thinks he’s worth 50 a year which he just might be so a discount for him might be 40. He needs to be rewarded because we want him here for his entire career. I think somewhere in the low 30/ is fair for both.

Albert Okwuegbunam the TE out of Mizz just ran a 4.49 at 6'5" 258. That's moving and just made that cat a pile of money.

I could see them giving up their 20 and a 3rd but we ain’t getting that 8 and losing our LT and best interior Dlineman for 8 and 20 just means we have to hit on both picks and while Eric Fisher isn’t Willie Roaf he’s a good LT that we can count on. Time will come when we have to take that risk but we don’t need to nor should we take that risk when we are trying to run this thing back.

He's a top 3 talent on the interior. He's not a flash in the pan he's a force in the tier right below Aaron Donald and is a three down player that is scheme flexible. If Avg LT are worth a first then Jones is worth at least a 1st and 3rd. I don't think he's going anywhere though unless someone offers the farm.

That is how I see it too sith. I’m all for this thing getting resolved quickly as to avoid a stoppage but still think the owners walk away totally winning again this round of negotiations.

The last collective bargaining agreement was heavily in favor of the owners. It should have been 48.5 at 16 at least. The owners were so happy to approve this because they knew they were going to have to pay more but now get a 17th game for doing it. I'd be upset if these jokers were representing me year in and year out. I understand there are other caveats to the negotiations but come on. I've never seen that owners so giddy to sign and complete a new CBA.....that tells you all you need to know about the proposal.

Funny how so many thought the baseline would be 50/50 split. If I’m the players I would be very suspicious how quickly the owners came up and voted for this proposition, especially since they knew the NFLPA was going to ask and get a bigger cut and the owners then asked for another game. I would definitely start at 50 percent of profits.

Would like you know what Pat thinks about his ability. Would he do a one year prove it deal and is there any chance he could find his form. He was a great wr a few years back. Personal opinion is he’s probably washed up and done and Mahomes is doing him a solid by bringing attention to his workout .

A guy like that, who considers retiring last year might consider a one year deal for a chance at a ship. Like Cran said who is better now? Snacks or Pennel? A few years ago Snacks was a beast but not sure if his body is failing him or Detroit happened to him.

One of my favorite parts was Terrell Suggs telling Mike Pennel, "No matter what you do in life, you will always be a champion". Thought that was really cool. Still hasn't gotten old watching those highlights.

Berry's contract was terrible but you can't foresee injuries like his. Just unfortunate how that went down and how much it hurt this team. Most people knew Houston was a stud that fell in the draft and we should have signed him earlier that would have saved us a pile of money. But those two really saddled our team. It really is amazing we won the whole things considering what those two contracts did or prohibited us from doing. Thankfully that $8 million will be gone next year and I believe we will be down to just one bad contract left on this team, Anthony Hitchens. But like some of you said at least those guys are playing and contributing.

Don't we have Eric Berry's cap hit on the books for another year? Wish they would put in a salary dump like the NBA did a few years ago in which you could get rid of one or two bad contracts on your books.

I could live with that. We won't be seeing Chris Jones much in the foreseeable future and we get our lock down corner.

Fenton is not a slot corner. He should be on the outside. Thats why Fuller took back over....and Fuller didn't play well there.

Yeah I'm definitely not saying they are worth it but Breeland played lights out in the playoffs and there isn't a lot of options in FA. Bryon Jones and James Bradbury. If you want Slay or PP gonna have to cough up picks and a huge contract.

If Queen, Murray, Danzler are on the board I think we draft at 32, but if not the best option would be trade back a few picks and get another 4th or 5th. The way Veach and co have drafted they seem to do well in those mid rounds and we need young cheap talent on this team.
