Said this year by Lamar was better than last years MVP season.

Um the high powered offense that couldn't get stopped got stopped right out of the gate......We were up 4 no doubt but that wasn't enough to get them out of their game plan. Our D shut them down first series. Then the O score but being up 11 with over a quarter and a half to play doesn't force you out of your game plan until the D stuffed them one more time. Both series to start the 2nd half featured Henry and we shut him down. Now obviously the O builds that lead and eventually they get out of running the ball but without those defensive stops they keep pounding the ball. Our offense is the better unit but our D isn't just serviceable they are good in their own right and are down their 4th best player. Also if Dirty Dan doesn't make that tackle on 4th down the momentum might not have swung so fast in the Texans game. I'm not sure we win either game with last years defense.

Yeah I'm not sure we get past either team with last years D. Gotta make stops for a come back to be successful. Remember our O didn't come out the 2nd half and score so the Titans game plan was still in effect but our D got two stops to start the second half which allowed the O to drive the dagger home. Obviously without the O we wouldn't be here either but our D has gotten stops in big moments unlike any D I've seen since the late 90's.

We'd probably already have a SB ring though too. As much as I hate Bob Sutton a bird in the hand....lol

Our D is more than capable and I think we can find one or two replacements for Breeland, Fuller, and Claiborne with cheap one year prove it deals. But we need to get younger and draft at least 2 DB's in the draft. One early on and then a developmental prospect. I truly feel keeping Mahomes up right is the key to long term success. Obviously wr's have to be talented enough to get open but for the next couple years we have Hill, Hardman (who will get better), and Kelce so we have a little time to keep drafting guys later on and developing them like Pringle and Robinson. LB, DB, IOL should be top the selections in the draft unless a top rated RB/WR falls to our choice in the 2nd or 3rd.

Then draft another wr that falls in the upcoming draft. Keep em cheap and keep em coming.

Our D deserves credit. They didn’t have to abandon the run after half. We failed to score first so they were only down 4 and we stuffed them. We did go and score but were only up 11, they could have marched down and scored like they claimed they would in the 2nd half on our d.....but we stuffed them again by then it was close to the end of the 3rd and then they had to abandon the run. Our D talked the y’all and backed it up on the field. They didn’t beat themselves we kicked their tail back to Tennessee! The niners will be tougher but not unbeatable.

Imagine what he can do when we start filling in holes with guys drafted for his scheme? Imagine what he can do with some real legit LB's......its scary how good they could be and I think they are pretty good now!

How do you not sell out to stop the run when the opposing qb is the weak link and only had 8 attempts last night? Boggles my mind. Mostert is good but he's not Walter Payton. Matt Lafleur got slapped around by Shanahan and crew. We are going to have to play a very good game to win.....their front 7 are as good as it gets in the NFL and our Interior Oline is our 2nd weakest position group on the team. If we can protect him we will win.

If we can protect Mahomes we win, its as simple as that.

They do have a different air about them as a whole. Feels like a healthy confidence more than an over the top arrogance. Can you imagine when we get some better linebackers behind our front 4?

I think he's got like 48 yards passing. Mostert has 200 on 10 carries. Still their D is scary up the middle.

Looks like its gonna be us vs the 49ers! Gonna be tough! They have a great Dline, and they run the ball with some explosive guys which scare me more than a big lumbering guy like Henry. We have Mahomes which is the great equalizer but they are boat racing the Packers.

A win is a win but shutting up the all the national talking heads and their "Henry is going to run right through the Chiefs hot take" is like icing on the cake. Love it!

Two weeks and he should be back to 100%. He made plays today in a gritty performance. And yes lets get this man paid. We are a different animal with him.

We didn't just win we shut down Henry in the process which was highly gratifying. 69 yards........yeah Henry is not better than Mahomes not even gimped up dislocated knee Mahomes.

We are the better team but our situational awareness this game has been pathetic! Breeland first half and Williams second half going out of bounds. They have that final TO because of Williams. I'd rather Mahomes not take unnecessary hits even to burn a to.

This is what happens when you go full on turtle and vanilla. I understand running the clock but let's not go full turtle. Grow a pair Andy and lets go for the jugular. Sheesh! We throw all the time in ways that are similar to runs......it is the same thing.
