No offense but returning a kickoff is about all Hardman did yesterday and yes it got us some momentum but some of y’all forget how special and clutch Hill is and has been. Dude makes it possible for almost everyone else on the O. If Hill was our only option he would have had 150 yards yesterday but other guys were one on one or wide open because the D was gameplanning for Hill. Love me some Hardman but he’s gotta learn to run better routes and beat man coverage consistently like Hill and Kelce.
He's got a little nasty in him like Rashad Fenton. I like it. Outside of the game play, HB and Frank have brought a toughness to this D we haven't seen in almost a decade. Get us a couple DB's and LB's next year that can cover and watch out. We got some younguns that look like they could be stout down the road.
I have felt the way most Texans have felt so many times, I can't quite wrap my mind around what happened today. How this team flipped a switch and went Cheat Mode on the Texans. 7 consecutive TD drives and 5 yards away from making 8.........what a game. I will never forget this one!
Yeah that 4th down stop was huge and I think we might all look back in a couple weeks at that play as being a season saving play! He balled out today and I am one of those who complains about his play a good bit. Glad I was wrong today!
I love the Chiefs but how many years in a row can we do this. All the talking heads talking how we are the better team and should win, but deep down there is an uneasy feeling of major doubt. Not because we aren't more talented but because we always seem to find players who aren't clutch and who choke in big games. Sheesh what does Mahomes have to do.
Wow can't start worse than that. Fisher with a dumb penalty, Kelce with an easy drop and then a returned TD. Need a TD here to calm things down. We till have a lot of time left but can't go down any more.
Baltimore had 5 TO's today. I think we can hang 30 on them. Andy is a much brighter play caller than Harbaugh and we have a qb who can stretch the field in ways LJ only wished he could.
But like others have said....we have a very good opponent tomorrow and we've been known to choke these games away. Hope we put them down fast and early and keep the pedal down.
Hope we have some guys figuring out how to stop Henry if we can get past the Texans. The best way is get a lead and keep the foot on the gas, but our D isn't as good as the Pats or Ravens imo....we aren't bad but without Thornhill we can't protect the back end as easily which weakens our run D. Won't matter if we don't take care of business tomorrow!
I agree! I am in no way saying he's not very talented and very very dangerous, but time and time again his highlights are to guys open by 10 yards because the d is so key on the running game. Its like pitch and catch. Force him to make tight contested throws and he looks very pedestrian.
Again....how can you win the MVP and lay such an atrocious egg in the biggest game of the year. Where are all those LJ lovers at now? 2 ints, 1 LF, 2 turnover on downs on 4 and 1 or less. Good times!
