  1. Running does help play action as well. Again I’m not as up in arms about the 3rd and 2 call as some, I’m upset with who it was designed for. Surely there is a play design for Hill or Kelce in that situation instead of Blake bell.
  2. That fumble return TD was a huge turning point and gave them life. So yeah the D laid an egg but the offense pitched in.
  3. It’s why we started that year 0-5 I believe. Once he started running the ball and play auctioning off that we started winning.
  4. The difference is Darrel Williams, who is underutilized but talented and has been known to catch some difficult passes, and Blake "Stone Hands" Bell. I don't really fault passing there even though running makes more sense. Just wondering where on the play sheet did that play come from. 3rd an 2 and a a chance to end this sloppy game....Tyreek Hill....no he's too good, Sammy.....nah......Kelce.....too obvious.....Mecole......too young....DRob.....doesn't feel right......Byron Pringle......nope.....Damien Williams......not a chance....Blake Bell.....Brilliant!!!!
  5. Clowney is also playing for a contract and Seattle won’t be able to afford him next year.
  6. Our rbs fumble ......a lot! So that’s something else to consider.
  7. I see where you are coming from and agree Sean Payton is a better coach.
  8. We could probably get Bill Belichick with Pat Mahomes. You guys act like we could only get some scrub to come here. Guys would line up to coach this kid.
  9. I don’t question his offensive acumen. He’s a genius but his personality doesn’t instill a culture of accountability and disciplined play. We are that talented team that gets beat by inferior talented yet far more disciplined teams far to often.
  10. We haven’t lost a game by more than 7. They got blown out. Their window is literally this year and maybe next year if they are lucky. So yeah they are in a worse position.
  11. I'm not ready to say fire Andy but I also don't think he gets a free pass year in and year out because he gets us to the playoffs. Have we not learned anything from our very own history, with Marty. It's a catch 22 imo. Without Andy Reid, Pat doesn't win an MVP. He's a great offensive mind for a great offensive talent. However he pumps the brakes way to much and I think its because he never wants to embarrass anyone which in RL is a great leadership trait but in the NFL your job is to beat the brakes off a team and their job is to stop you. I'm willing to give him this year and next. By then Pat will have learned what he needs to know and we could potentially move on. I hope he (Andy) gets it figured out and we can get that elusive Lombardi Trophy. But we have a once in a generational talent and I just don't think we can we can keep doing the same thing over and over with the same results and thing just because we have Pat its going to change. For far too long we have wished and hoped for a perfect storm that would lead to a SB trip. We shouldn't need that now but it still seems like thats what we will need to get there. Also the excuses have run out. He hand picked his GM, OC, DC and has a generational level talent QB. There are no more excuses, so I'm willing to give him some limited time but if its always his fault like he says then there has to be some accountability eventually. So I'm going to root for him and the rest of this team to get it figured out and get us to the SB but we can't keep being patient year in and year out if we don't get there. Lincoln Riley wouldn't be a bad option with a veteran DC, someone like Wade Phillips or you pick your poison.
  12. Look I'm as frustrated with Andy Reid and this team as most are. Andy is a good coach but his short comings seem to hurt us in the worst possible times. What I blame him for is poor game management and lack of discipline. We are a very sloppy and undisciplined team and usually that is because the HC has allowed that to manifest. We brought in hard nosed guys to try and change the culture but you can't change the culture if your leader doesn't have that killer instinct. With that said we didn't get whooped by the Falcons like the Saints did and we haven't fallen apart like the Rams either. We have our warts but we do still have the ability to win each and every game. So yeah it could be worse.
  13. My biggest issue with the play was who it was it designed for. We tried forcing him the ball earlier in the year to him and he just isn’t a good player nor should he be put in that situation.
  14. He also was averaging 3.5 yards per carry before today......so somehow every other team figured out how to slow him down. We just gifting career days to opposing players.
  15. The momentum swing from a fumble return TD is huge. It is also like 4 games in a row that a RB has lost a fumble or at least 4 out of the last 5. With as little as we run the ball that can be crippling. We are gifting a team points when our game plan is for them to try and play catch up. Can't happen, at least not a return for a TD. I'm really embarrassed we lost to such an inept team. Ryan Tannehill is the qb and Derrick Henry has averaged 3.5 yards a game up to this point.....he's probably avg over 5 with that 200 yard outburst. Thegoatee is right....we have to be perfect on offense. Lesean Mccoy has not been the answer we needed and I do now believe we inquired about L. Bell. RB is a bigger need than we think.
  16. Ivie is better than Pennell.......oh wait.....no Ivie sucks but we'd rather play him than a very good run stuffing defensive lineman. Add that to the list of idiotic decisions made yesterday.
  17. I'll give Veach credit he tried for Fitzpatrick, but year Thornhill got straight up owned today. Just watching the replays, it does look like Mathieu is playing with a bunch of JVers at times. He looks super frustrated because of miscommunication and probably a lot of rookie mistakes. He did say, when everyone else was sky high on Thornhill, that he has a long way to go. Looked like he was spot on. Seeing Thornhill get ran over by Ryan Tannehill was pretty sad.
  18. Because it takes an inept coaching staff and some stupid player mistakes and calls to lose a game like that. But its Andy's fault and he will do better next time to make sure we lose to inferior teams in a different way.
  19. Oh come on! Let us stop pretending like everything is fine. Teams deal with injuries. Good teams figure a way to win. We have zero killer instinct. Andy Reid goes full on Vanilla if we go up 10 points. He doesn't want to pile it on and that might be all well and good in Peewee football but the other team gets paid to stop us. Bury teams when you have a chance, keep the pedal down. You keep Joey Ivie on the active roster and scratch Mike Pennel.......against a tool of a qb who's identity is smash mouth football. I was afraid of this and even mentioned it in post earlier this week. Mahomes comes back and everyone takes it easy like he's the solution for everything. Chris Jones and Ogbah looked like they had something to prove (oh wait both are on contract years) and ST is and has been absolute garbage this year. We are 6-4! We quite literally should be 9-1 even with all the injuries. Good teams figure a way to win. I seem to recall an 11-5 Matt Cassell team once and we all know how bad Matt Cassell was. This year has resembled the utterly frustrating Alex Smith years. Winning games you shouldn't and losing games you shouldn't to teams that should be easy to defend because they are pretty one dimensional, but we find a way of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. We aren't learning from our mistakes because we have zero accountability for them, we are repeating them game after game after game. I'm not calling for anyones head but Dave Toub can go fly a kite after the year.
  20. Why are we running a play to stone hands Blake Bell on a crucial down. Also I believe it was him who failed to block the guy who blocked the game tying fg. I could be wrong but I think both were Blake Bell. SMH
  21. No you can't start coasting when your up more than 7. We do it almost every game. We start pulling back the reins and inevitably teams catch up.
  22. Seem to recall them watching like hawks last January....smh
  23. This is we’re Id like Pat Mahomes to direct some fire at the coaching staff. Not in a totally disrespectful manner but in a way that should wake them up. We might walk around with some swagger but we are a paper tiger because we never and I mean never eviscerate an opponent when we have the chance.
