Watching him, Lesean and Williams juke multiple guys all day long was awesome.

Took me the better part of today to warm up to the acquisition but im drunk on kool aid and now think he will have a bounce back year on our team. He won’t be the lead back but I think he will turn some heads and be valuable down the stretch.

Makes sense but then again if either Tackle goes out, Kelce, Hill, Tyran, Jones, Clark...........I think rb is the least of our worries at the moment. I guess my main concern is normally rb's fall off a cliff and thats 4 million less we have in finding a CB and TE. But if he still has some in the tank that would be great becuase he was an electric player and if he's still got some then he can really help this O. And like someone said we keep him from the Pats, Eagles and Chargers.

I'd agree if this was a corner back or TE but not for a washed up RB. At this point in his career we just paid 4 million to a guy because he probably pass protects better than Darwin and Darrell.......expensive backup.

Veach is pretty amazing! Get anything for Mark Fields and Carlos Hyde is thievery. Excited to see how he addresses CB.

Up until now the Chiefs could never do this because we don’t have a qb that draws this type of FA. Now we do and I agree we should take a page from their book and utilize it. But I’m not overly worried about them signing Mr Collins.

Um, you do realize these players have a choice where they go, right! Not really concerned about the NE Patriots. They lost Gronk and Flowers and Tom Brady is a year older. We lost by lining up in the nuetral zone and not being able to stop a final drive with 3 3rd and longs. We will be better overall and they won't be.

Expensive but he’ll only be 31 when his contract is up. I’m going to go ahead and predict Frank Clark has a monster year this year and will be well worth the contract when it’s all said and done. With an aggressive new scheme and a high powered offense there will be plenty of opportunities to get after the qb.

Great move! We get a guy ascending that is only 26 years old. We fix a huge hole on this team and we still have 3 picks in the first 3 rounds to address some other holes we have. I feel a whole lot better about our upcoming season after this move!

I think you misunderstood my point. If you are a man and your spouse it abusing your child (repeatedly), then it’s your responsibility to protect your child. Allowing your child to be repeatedly abused is unacceptable. I’m not saying this is the case and I hope it’s not, just generally speaking you have a responsibility to your child. I probably didn’t make myself clear enough. I'm with you, better to wait for all the facts to come out.

I don't claim to know the processes pertaining to Child neglect/abuse cases. Broken bones often illicit an inquiry when their cause isn't easily explained correct? Could this be a case of the boy saying one thing and the parents saying something else and coupled with Tyreeks background giving warrant to a more thorough investigation? Since the boy was taken that would mean they found something worthy of removing a child. Regardless if no charges are brought forth and he can play, that is nothing to be proud of as a man! Even if she is to blame, then you gotta get your child and kick that woman to the curb if you have no part in this. Part of me agrees that a 5th is pathetic compensation for such a talented guy but the way Reid has been dealing with this and what he's said make me think the teams legal team has told them as long as no chargers are filed you have to let him participate but no welcoming him back in makes me think there is some truth to those rumors. And if true why is the team so snake bit? First Hunt and then Hill if that were to happen? There have been some real losers in the league play long productive years but we have to get the two knuckleheads that can't keep their crap together long enough to be great. Hunts stupidity more than likely cost us a SB visit and TH could potentially cost us one this year at this point in the offseason. Hope all of this works itself out but no trophy is worth a child being abused or neglected.

I think we’ve slowed up in FA until we find out more about Hill. Which would make sense in case we have to fill his spot with an offensive player. Just my opinion.... now .watch us go out and sign/trade for a high priced DE.

Im a transplant from the Scout board. I'm 37 years old and grew up in Lamar Mo. I'm a die hard Chiefs and Royals fan since the late 80's. My family and I are Missionaries to Colombia, currently raising our support and living in Alabama. Have two children, little girl 9 and little boy 6.
