Wow. Phew that is a win for our D. Andy needs to pull his head out. Two drives were killed because of horrible play calling. I believe if we run the ball we score a TD and its a 17 point game.

This series wouldn't even be happening if Reid would have called some runs. More than likely we score another TD. Hope that doesn't come back to bite us. If they score a TD here they have all the momentum and we gifted it to them just like last year. It really is a shame because he is such a good HC but his fatal flaw has cost him a lot in his career. No matter, our D needs to step up here. A Fg is acceptable, a TD is not.

Ok D.....stiffen up and hold for a fg. Don't want them to get momentum before half like last year.

100% true. As good as our D has been eventually you have to think they are going to score. Gotta take advantage of these possessions. We did burn an entire quarter though and we get the ball after half. Get another stop here and score a TD and we will be cooking. I think we can!

I don't know. His man would have met Pacheco in the hole. How is his man getting all the way down the line. His man disrupts so many rushing plays.

Wylie gives up so many back side pressures. Any decent RT keeps that guy away form the play and we have a TD. Oh well.....lets go Chiefs!

I get it, but why give bulletin board material to the other team. Especially when he and Bolton looked like straight garbage last time they played. To be honest Willie Gay has been one the bigger disappointments on the team this year. Year 3 and still struggling to pick up the pass coverage assignments to the point that Harris has all but taken his 3rd down snaps. I love Willie and think he is a super talented LB but we are just as bad as in years past trying to cover TE's and guys over the middle. Here is hoping he dominates on Sunday.

The first game was definitely off the charts but after that Spags has done a decent job. The D gave our O a chance to win.

You are right he didn't get doubled much this game. The Jags game plan was short under 2 second passes. I watched the first 3 series and he got pressure a few times and most of the plays the ball was out before anyone could make a play. He did stuff a run he was chipped on and got pressure on a roll out. He had his man beat 50% of the snaps I watched but it either didnt' matter because the run was away from him or a short dump pass. The first series he got doubled on 2 of the first 3 plays. He then started lining up on the outside shoulder of the guard trying to force 1v1's with himself and the DE. No one is getting home on a <2.0 second pass. Not sure what you want him to do in those situations. He is beating his man and getting pressure when Lawrence held it or pushing the pocket when he was doubled. I know you complain about sacks in the post season but the guy had 15.5 sacks and was better vs the run this year than in years past. He is elite and the Jags played dink and dunk the entire game and never really threatened us. Frank Clarks sack was because Chris Jones walked him man into Lawrences lap and forced Lawrence to run into Clark. Not sure why I'm arguing with Timmy T tops here. He was a first team All-Pro this year. Lead our team in sacks with 15 from the DT position. We don't win our only SB in 50 years without his elite play that game.

I wonder if some of you guys actually watch the guy play or just look at the score board and stat sheet. We have one elite player on the defensive line. One! Every OC in the league knows who CJ95 is and I can promise you that no one on the defensive side of the ball remotely scares an OC like he does. So what do they do? They dedicate 2-3 guys on him every play and scheme plays away from him if at all possible. He literally consumes two offensive lineman and pushes them into the pocket, so while he might not get the pressure and or the sack he keeps the qb from stepping up in the pocket. Its time for all the other dlineman to put up or shut up. Their jobs are significantly easier because of CJ and his is significantly harder because of them. I do not think this OL of the Bengals can put together another performance like they did last week because a. Spags won't be idiotic like Leslie was last week and b. they just aren't very good and eventually it shows. As for him not having a sack in all those games...that is a blemish but that literally has nothing to do with the opportunity presented this weekend. The past is behind us and all that lies in front is this golden opportunity to cement some legacies. I think CJ gets his first sack in the first quarter this game and is a game wrecker all game long.

They might beat us because Mahomes is gimpy but their Oline is a major problem. Even if they get past us the Eagles or Niners will destroy that Oline. Go back and watch that Titans game last year and tell me how Burrows looked. If our D can play like they are capable of they will make life miserable for him too. The Bills let Burrows step up in the pocket and got no pressure. They don't have Chris Jones. And as much as people are hating on Clark he is healthy and looks quick. Burrows gets the most balls batted in the NFL we are the best at batting them down. People are counting out our D but they have the ability to be stout and cause problems. Hope Spags can channel some of that old Giants magic and devise a scheme that makes Joe nervous.

I mean Mahomes had that game plan beat until Kelce fumbled and his Oline forgot how to block on the last series. Even after all that we had a chance to tie on a fg that Butker missed. We might not win but the idea the Bengals are going to destroy us is something.

Nor did Joe Thuney and I think Allegretti was responsible for a sack and a couple pressures from that guard spot. Reader worked him pretty good that game.

There are no guarantees but that kick landed about were every kick that was intended to be returned landed. It didn't look like he slipped. I absolutely could have been a Butker error but we have been doing this all year when the data says its not to our benefit.

We might very well lose to a very good team on Sunday. Its possible and it would sting because its the Bengals. This teams goal every year with Mahomes is a Superbowl but this year was a soft rebuild and if it was ever going to be difficult to win this was going to be the year. With all that said.... Some on here act like the Bengals beat us 3 times in dominating fashion. They won 3 times in a row so that means they were the better team but let us not act like it was domination. The two games last year were failure to adjust in the second half and giving the game away. Both games came down to a fg both games they were behind the entire game. This years game we were up 4 and moving the ball at will in the 4th quarter to go up 11 or at worst 7. Even after the fumble we had a chance to send it to overtime but Butker missed. Toney didn't even play neither did Joe Thuney. It's going to be a good game but lets not act like they are unstoppable. They looked like crap vs the Ravens. If we play a good game we will win, if we don't we will lose. We don't need special circumstances to happen to win, we don't need the stars to align, we don't need lucky breaks. We are a very good young ascending team. We just need to play a good game and we will be in the SB.
