If we can keep it close, Spags has been really good at adjusting at half and we do get the ball so we just need one stop this half and the O to stop choking in the redzone.

I think you are incorrect oldtimer. They may frown upon it and have a meeting behind close doors to reprimand a player for doing this but they have no control to force a player to take x amount of money to play. I mean Juju last year took less to stay in Pittsburg. I'm willing to bet he took a good bit less to play for us this year because he wanted to be here.

Reid and Thornhill have both been underwhelming this year. I was excited when we signed Reid, and he is an upgrade over what we had last year but neither have been great. Last thing we needed to do was give the Bengals bulletin board material.
Agreed! Next years FA class is very very thin at WR. While we all would like to see Juju back he might sign elsewhwere and I think Mecole is gone. I like that Veach is adding talented guys to the PS to get a jump start of putting together a WR room. MVS, Moore and Toney are the only locks for next year.
Nice having a player like Allegretti who is serviceable and didn't look horrible vs one of the greatest DL in the history of the game. Thuney would have definitely helped though for sure. The safety group has been underwhelming this year. They haven't seemed terrible because of what we trotted out there last year but they haven't been great.
Absolutely! Thus my original comments about some nice plays here and there. 1/5 in the redzone is putrid though. I'm sure they will figure it out. Mahomes looked a little off. They were getting pressure quite a bit tonight. Our tackle situation is still bad. I'm not so sure thats why the running near the endzone was so bad (Have to go back and look), but guys crashing down on Wylie have hindered quite a few plays this year.
420 yards of total offence with 20 points. Those last three were a gift from the D. You are right 30 other teams would be happy but we aren't like any other NFL offense. We are the gold standard and we have looked pathetic compared to the standard we set. I'm glad thats enough to win most games but I'm not gonna call it a quality performance.

What is sad is the announcers don't even acknowledge it even though you can clearly see extension and db's flying backwards. We are going to see a lot of it.
