I'm excited for this game. This is the type of game Mahomes needs to win the MVP. Two of the top 3 wr's are out. We get to see more of Moore and Toney. I imagine we will see more 3 tight end sets and we will get to see Andy Reid's a plus game plan as this game essentially wraps the division. Chargers have a lot to play for but are banged up. A lot of interesting storylines in this game. Can't wait to put it to them!

I agree. There isn't anyone worth a big contract in FA imo. We have MVS and Moore under contract and now Toney. Juju makes the most sense to retain. Plus Justyn Ross is another possibility if he can get healthy. Maybe a mid round/late round pick or just bring Justin Watson back.

I believe this 100%. Veach could have drafted Breelands Speaks crippled brother and Mahomes would have said he loved the pic. Also, why would the face of your franchise talk down on a pick that will ultimately be his teammate. Mahomes isn't dumb though, he can surely see the limitations of CEH but he isn't going to be a bad teammate. He will allow Veach and Reid to make those personnel moves.

Thankfully Veach is pretty good at learning from mistakes.

In all fairness the Vikings should have had a fresh set of downs on the goaline. Jefferson was getting mugged every single route. Its pathetic the refs allow that much.

First half thoughts. Toney is gonna be a big part of our O come playoff time. He has shown more in 2 weeks than Moore and MVS combined. Can't see how he doesn't pick up a lot more snaps over the next 2 months. O looks good until we try to force plays to CEH and MVS. Still can't complain about a 3 TD first half. D looked good up until that last drive. Not sure if its coaching or players but its a Spags signature special. At some point Andy needs to call a screen with the sole purpose of burying Cisco. That was two head hunting plays. What is it with this D. A few years back their LB got all frustrated and started playing dirty as well. Finally, ST is a complete undisciplined joke. Lost on side, missed kicks, coverage units allowing returns to the 40, and to cap it off another fumble. Sheesh. Its ugly in every facet minus Townsend and Toney. And we are still winning 20-7. Need to hang another 3 TDs this half.

Agreed. There schedule isn't as easy as was once thought. While I don't buy this injury is as bad as they are making it out you don't sit your starting qb for mulitple days to play mind games for the Minnesota Vikings either. I think he is hurt but he's tough and will play and it might ultimately be thier undoing down the stretch. This is the year for them. It will get drastically harder after this year in that division and with their roster construction with his contract almost tripling. Hope he isn't hurt and we get the chance to beat them again in the playoffs and hopefully shut up the media once and for all.

Crazy to think that Mitchell Schwartz could be manning our right side this year if not for a debilitating back injury. He was so good. I know HB gets a lot of love for being one of the best FA signings but I don't think he played better than Mitchell. Mitchell was a stalwart. Dang I miss him locking down that right side.

Surprise- Offense playing so well overall with so many new pieces & Khalen Saunders. Disappointment- Juan Thornhill and Justin Reid - They haven't been bad but had higher hopes from them. OBJ - I keep thinking he is going to get it turned around.....and he keeps disapointting. Expected- Tackles and Ends struggling Unexpected- Young DB's developing faster than expected. Obvious- Mahomes doing Mahomes things. Mahomes should be the MVP.
