  1. It would be a net positive for us. Going on 3 years of crappy ST returns.
  2. ST in a nut shell. We run it out and don’t get it it the 25 but get no penalties or we get past the 25 there is always a penalty. ST 🙄
  3. Still wonder what it would have been like if we signed Trent. Dude is a machine!
  4. I’ll take a fg there. Dang Nnadi needs to be benched. Shanahan is an idiot. Just run the ball because we can’t stop it. When they pass we win.
  5. 1st and 15 and we sit back and give up an 8 yard run. We can’t generate any pressure and that is with everyone playing relatively close to the LOS and we still can’t stop the run.
  6. Nice job O. Needed that score. Let’s go D! A strip sack or int would nice here!
  7. Bro was thinking the same thing. He is not good.
  8. I don't gamble either for this very reason. I sometimes predict the opposite of what I want to happen as i channel my inner Whachamacallit.
  9. I like Spag's aggressiveness until he decides at the most inexplicable times to go vanilla and soft. His defenses are at their best when they have 4 capable pass rushers on that dline. Sending more doesn't help this young secondary out like you said. I was calling for that last game about Saunders. He looks better vs the run and definitely vs the pass over Nnadi. At this point why is Nnadi even a backup when you have Danny Shelton on the PS. Oh well, Spags gonna spags I guess until Veach removes the players he is insistent on playing.
  10. Very few defenses are going to hold good offenses under 20 points per game. We are young but our front 4 (outside of CJ) isn’t scaring anyone. Until that front 4 gets fixed this D will be inconsistent.
  11. Without Gay and McDuffie. Also that game is the Raiders SB and to us it’s just another divisional game.
  12. Burns is going to cost us a minimum of two firsts at the place were we draft so I can't imagine us doing that. For Spags D to shine he needs pass rushers who can get after the qb. I would personally offer our 2nd 2023 and 1st 2024 but doubt that gets anything done as they will want to find a qb this year. A wr doesn't make a lot of sense because of the complexity of our O. A rb, even one like CMC, doesn't move the needle enough because Mahomes isn't going to utilize him when plays break down because he has rb's open now and doesn't dump it down. If we are going to make an addition to this team it has to be a pass rushing DT or DE first and then a distant 2nd a wr. Ogunjobi would be a nice get. He should be an immediate starter and a pairing with Jones would be problem for offenses. Read somewhere that the money freed up will probably be used to bring players up from the practice squad so we might all be getting our hopes up for nothing. Final thought, as good as our D played yesterday I'm not sure that we should bank on the D playing that good again if we see Buffalo in January. Even with Mcduffie and Gay back. It is a very real possibility we threw some things at Buffalo that worked the first time but won't work again. Adding a legit pass rusher is the top priority and helps solidify the teams ability to slow down top offenses moving forward.
  13. Andy Reid and Spags both like going conservative. It kills our offensive rhythm and contradicts our identity on O and on defense it allows teams to come back. At what point do you have some awareness that the D as a whole isn't great and its more productive to stay aggressive. I wish Reid would bury teams.
  14. I agree bro! I know the coaches know more than we do but when you see Harris playing like he is playing you really have to wonder what are they thinking some times. I think Spags values intelligent players who know where to be at all times, the problem with that is knowing where to be and actually being able to be there are two different things.
  15. That is peanuts for a talented wr. I used to get upset about news like this but Andy Reids system is so hard for wr's to learn it feels like it would be a waste of draft picks. The chances a wr can come in mid season and build rapport with Mahomes and learn this vast playbook sufficient enough to make a difference is miniscule. Are all playbooks as difficult as ours, and with Mahomes do they need to be that difficult? Some of his best work comes when the play breaks down.
  16. I believe Hardman struggles with two areas that negate his insane speed. He tracks balls horrifically which is a shame because with his speed he could bail out Mahomes when the throw isn't perfect. The other is his ability to adjust a route to make himself a better target. Romo specifically mentioned him flattening out a route to give Mahomes a better angle and keep the DB from jumping the route instead he fades deeper. There was a pass last week or the week before were Mahomes threw it deep and if Hardman could track well he would have immediately turned deep and probably snags that for a deep TD, but instead he keeps running towards the sideline and by the time he realized were the pass was going to be he makes the move deep way to late and those 2 wasted steps in the wrong direction cost him a deep ball. No different that a centerfielder. A couple wrong steps are the difference in a reception and an incomplete. JMO.
  17. We are 4-2 and lost by 4 to probably the best in the NFL. We are better than we were last year with a harder schedule and a bunch of "#3" wr's still figuring out the offense. We have more than enough fire power to get back to the SB. If we don't it won't be because of the wr's. It will be because our D takes a step backwards or can't generate enough pressure or the offensive play calling continues to be inconsistent.
  18. Interesting note about the Zambezi Zinger. It was purchased by a theme park here in Colombia. You can still ride it in Armenia Colombia at Parque del Café.
  19. I hope you are right. He seems like a high motor player who just doesn't have the bend to exploit tackles quick enough to make an impact. I know he is a rookie so there is still tons of time left for him to develop. We hoping for an occasional wow play during this process. Regardless, we need a legit stud at DE at the trade deadline or during the offseason.
  20. I thought the same thing. Its frustrating when they get beat but they are right there against one of the best in the L. This experience if utilized correctly will only benefit his development.
  21. Because he is 6'4" and he had his hands on the ball. Gotta be bigger than that and come down with it. Glad Juju finally had a good game. Dude still has some juice. Hope this builds some rapport with Mahomes.
  22. Crazy because our Oline are better run blockers but we don't let them do that and if we do call run plays its RPO which means they can't be aggressive and push defenders back. Brown might not have been amazing today but almost all of the pressure was coming from Wylies side today. They smelled blood in the water and went after him and our O adjusted...nope....keep running the same thing over and over.
  23. If you watch that last play Wylie actually had him pinned until Trey Smith pushed him right past Wylie. I'm sure its the injuries but Trey Smith hasn't taken any step forward this year in his play. Again probably because of the injuries but its not been great.
