I hate he is out but if we can pick up this win that would be huge. I still am holding out hope for this season but we need a few more games to get our mojo back and get our O back on track. Also getting above .500 has to be good for the psyche.

He doesn't look good and I think Andy has not helped his qb out minus the first drive last night. Our playcalling is brutal. Veach tried in the offseason to get a #2 and failed. Watching last night Kelce gets mugged and Hill doubled and no one else can create for themselves without a special play designed for them.
While it comes off as a hot take Dan is normally very even keel and he prefaces it with some caveats. I agree with some of his assessments. Not that it can’t be fixed and that he’s the worst mechanical qb in the league but he’s way down the lost. What do y’all think?
I was thinking about the other day. He’s a new father and that does have to take some focus off of football. I do wonder if he grinded like he has in the past in the off-season. Maybe they believed the media about we only needed a better Oline and we would be gifted a sB spot. Whatever it is he doesn’t look the same and if could be he is mentally tired. SB slumps are a thing for a reason and I’m willing to bet the biggest thing is the mental side
And instead of taking the time to dust off the old Alex Smith playbook they go back every Monday and sing “If only for a few less turnovers…..”, instead of designing an offense that makes teams pay for doing it.
Sent Hill and Hardman deep, let them devote two to Kelce and run slants till the king comes home with Gordon. The fact we’ve been so stubborn only makes it worse and encourages others to do it.
No offense you can’t take a snap shot and pretend like that pocket existed for minutes. That DE curls hard and he stepped to the left like many of us were crying about last week were he should have but he couldn’t get the ball to Kelce who cuts across the field to the left. And that LB isn’t Niemann he closed in a hurry. There has to be a designed play (slant or quick out) to give Mahomes a quick target. He also clearly doesn’t want to force it or he would have thrown it to Kelce. Maybe he’s gunshy or maybe he trusts the D a little more to not turn the ball over here and get the FG. He isn’t playing great but this play wasn’t bad.
I hope we don't but this offense was so depleted and we still gifted them yards on stupid penalties and we looked confused a large portion of the night on D.
Can you have a moral loss? You know there is such a thing as moral victory, but this feels like a moral loss. We gonna get embarrassed again next week vs GB.
What was that play call? Everyone is focused on Kelce? That isn't misdirection, that is just stupid. Get Kelce hurt on a play that could easily have gotten the same amount of yards by lining up in the I. Stupid is what stupid does.
Well he has mulitple turnovers this year, but I agree he is good not great. He is a very good gadget player but he isn't a reliable #2 or even #3 wr imo.
I'm not even confident we score a TD here. Good thing a FG probably wins it.....if we run enough time off the clock. Andy will probably pass it three times and give it back to them with over a minute left to tie.
