    I saw that prior to the Chargers game, road teams that traveled at least two time zones were something like 1-12 on Thursday Night Football. So what we pulled off is insanely difficult. And my point relevant to your post is that other than that game under tough circumstances, we've won 5 straight by double digits.

    It's a little concerning to me that he hasn't cleared it. All indications are that no one got particularly sick, but I would hate for him to have some lingering effects, both personally and football-wise.

    They went TD, TD, FG, TD to basically end the game late in the second quarter, then coasted on both O and D. I don't think Pittsburgh is particularly good but they are a .500 team and we utterly dominated when it counted. I really don't think there is anything to downplay or nitpick about this win.

    I don't think it's scary at all. It's encouraging that we're putting ourselves in positions where we can coast. If we're coasting in a 1-2 score game that's one thing, not in 4 score game.

    Nah, sorry, totally wrong. Way better to rest the starters. Just look at who is getting beat up in this game --- CEH, Honey Badger, and did we ever get word on Gay? You take the free week whenever you can get it, absolutely zero question about it. Last year we rested the starters and were looking just fine in the Cleveland game until Patrick got hurt. I don't think there are any studies that conclusively show that "rust" hurts a team.

    I'm not taking anything for granted but we have to be the AFC favorite by a mile. We could lose but we're not losing if we're anything close to our best. NFC is murkier, TB just got shut out last week and I wouldn't write off the Packers or Rams.

    Different definitions of bust. He was a terrible pick and I'm not sure what he could do before his contract is up to change that.
