  1. His drop rate of 14.7% would have been worst in the league if he had enough catches to qualify. Corey Bradford has the career worst catch rate in the history of the NFL at 45.7%. Justin just did 44.1%. I like the guy, but he had a bad year catching the ball.
  2. He might not. But you have to add together all three of Watson, Moore and Toney's yards last year to equal James. Adding any two of them together don't do it. That's with Jones throwing the ball. That's kind of my point. There's some serious questions about who even makes the roster.
  3. I'd say our wide receivers right now have a lot of potential. And a lot of question marks. Outside of MVS, Richie James has the most NFL starts of the bunch with 14. In 4 years. KT, Skyy, MVS, James, Powell, Watson and Reed might be really good. But at this moment in time, it's hard to be completely comfortable with that room.
  4. He says in the article: “I’m gonna finish out this contract with the Dolphins and then I’m gonna call it quits"
  5. Tyreek's cap hit in 2026 is 56 million dollars. There's no way he finishes this contract. IMHO.
  6. I think Kelce, Gronk and Kittle have shown that tight ends can be the 2nd most important position on an offense. I would not hesitate to use a 1st round pick on the position if the right dude is there.
  7. The dumbass thing was sarcasm. Thats basically the sentiment of Everyone in the room when I suggested I hated to see him go.
  8. I want to concede a point. But other people have to have a correct point first. Juju is not easy to replace in a year in which we lose both tackles, an edge rusher, backup quarterback and Hardman.
  9. I'm not sure what to say. Because he didn't leave after super bowl liv. He played another year. In which we lost the super bowl and he had 1 catch.
  10. The difference being Sammy was pur 4th leading wide receiver
  11. Do you guys read at all? Here's what I said: "I'm not loving some of the losses of people. Maybe not super stars, but some pretty solid players also. On the flip side, I'm excited to see what we do to back fill" JuJu is not a super star. But he's a solid player. I'd love to draft a 1000 yard receiver. We have done precious little of that. Here's the wide receivers we have drafted in the past 15 years not named Tyreek. Moore, Powell, Hardman, Smith, Chesson, Robinson, Conley, Brown, Wylie, Hemingway, Baldwin, McCluster, Lawrence, Franklin and the other Robinson. I doubt most of us could put first names with over half. Good wideouts have not been easy for us to find. We have gone the free agent route with MVS, Watkins, Watson, Josh Gordon. We've traded for AJ Jenkins. Some UDFAs, Albert Wilson and Pringle. I don't get how a Chiefs fan thinks good wide receivers are just easy to find. I never said he was amazing. Just I hate to lose that kind of player that produces and not constantly injured.
  12. I'm not a grasshopper. I'm possibly the most patient, team friendly person on the board. I never complain about the coaches or management. And I'm not complaining now. I understand the moves we are making and I understand why we are letting some guys go. The very first post in this shit show says we are losing guys that are not super stars, but solid pros. JuJu fits that perfectly. He's not easy to replace. When we list Chiefs that had better seasons, we listed Otis Tayor, Stephone Paige, Carlos Carson and Frank Jackson for gods sake.
  13. Once again, that's the point. We are saying he is a garden variety wideout that we can easily replace. But when we try to think of better ones that we have had, 5 of 10 were 30 years ago. We just haven't had good luck finding productive wide receivers.
  14. I started the thread and said im concerned about losing quite a few solid players. None of them are super stars. But a lot of solid pros are gone. One of which is the best receiver on the team. Both tackles. A solid backup quarterback. Saunders. Thornhill. Clark. Possibly our punter. I acknowledged that im excited to see how we backfill. But juju was a good player and not easily replaced. He just isn't.
  15. Yes. The rest of the nfl gave him a 3 year 33 million dollar contract.
  16. Not sure why the face palm. If bowe being the last one as good as him is your proof that he is middle of the pack, then you should think about that long and hard.
  17. And that's my point. You went back 13 years to find someone better and yet we call him a middle of the pack guy. He's not.
  18. Same question for you. Other than Hill, who was the last Chiefs wide receiver that was as good as JJSS was this year for the Chiefs?
  19. Who on our 22 roster was better is the question. And excluding Tyreek Hill, who was the last Chiefs WR that was better than JJS? Maclin?
  20. If he is middle of the pack, who on our roster is a better WR? Middle of the pack implies some better, some worse.
  21. None the less, it's clear that he is not "average". He is 26 years old and has a 1400 yard season to his name. I'm not saying he's an elite receiver, but you don't just replace 900 yard guys with a 77 percent catch rate that know the system with some average guy. We have gone out and got guys like MVS and Watkins and spent high picks on Moore and Robinson. He's not that easy to replace. But not impossible. The point of the thread is we are losing a lot of those guys. Pretty solid professionals at important positions. OBJ, JJSS, Saunders, Clark, Henne, Thornhill. Maybe Dunlap.
  22. Ok. Compare him to the wide receivers under Mahomes to get your apples to apples and see where his season lands.
