  1. Pretty sure there's not dozens. Certainly not dozens that are available. If you take Tyreek out of the equation, JuJu just put up the 5th highest receptions total in Chiefs wide receiver history. We have a long history of shitty wideouts.
  2. I'm not loving some of the losses of people. Maybe not super stars, but some pretty solid players also. On the flip side, I'm excited to see what we do to back fill.
  3. I've always been under the impression that part of the reason for better pass protection on the left side was that right handed quarterbacks can see pressure from the right side and not the left.
  4. I don't see an issue with having a good LT and RT either. We saw the benefit of that Fisher and Schwartz. And Roaf and Tait. I just don't think they did all that just to trick everyone about our draft board. Either they want him to play LT or they want him to play RT. I'm good either way.
  5. It's hard to imagine they'd paid him 20 million a year to play right tackle just to game the draft board. He'd be the highest paid right tackle in the league.
  6. I'm sorry. I already said it's Michael Mayer. So you can quit speculating.
  7. Sounds like his last few years were pretty sad.
  8. A sad day. I will never forgive Jack Del Rio. RIP Otis.
  9. The Pro Bowl is not an ideal metric for sure. But it's also not nothing. 2021 DE's for the AFC Myles Garrett, Joey Bosa, Frank Clark, T J Watt, Bradley Chubb and Judon. 2020 Joey Bosa, Calais Campbell, Frank Clark, T J Watt, Von Miller and Judon. It's not just a list of Schmucks.
  10. He was battling the stomach thing as a Seahawk. He had surgery for it. I'm not sure what it is, but I don't think it's "illness". I've heard Crohn's. I think the guy really loves the game. None the less, he hasn't been worth what he got, but he also was pretty instrumental in 2 badly needed championships. Question for people. Do you think we win 3 out of 4 without the Clark trade? Because that's the only way we lose that trade is if we would have won more without it. The money means nothing to you and me.
  11. It's hard to say what the best thing Veach has done is. (other than his role in Mahomes) But transitioning this team in 1 year from a 3-4 to a 4-3 was pretty amazing. That and completely rebuilding the Oline in 1 offseason.
  12. Yes. But they were way worse than Frank Clark's. And I was responding to the post that said this is one of the worst contracts in team history. It's not close to the worst. We have been to 3 Super Bowls and won 2 since that contract. He was a pro bowler in three out of four years. We have been to 3 Super Bowls and won 2 since that contract. Frank has been a significant part of that. The contract has not put us in a position that we couldn't extend Pat and pay CJ. Or rebuild the OL. Did he earn 20 million a year? No he did not. We probably overpaid 8 million a year for what he did. But he helped put a franchise over the top that was 50 years cursed. And that alone makes the contract worth it.
  13. Eric berry's contract and Matt Cassells were way way worse.
  14. Conversely, Jones disappears a little in the post season and gets a pass. They have both been key parts of our success the past 4 years for sure.
  15. Without that contract, we probably are now on year 55 of the curse. He has been better than people give him credit for.
  16. Nolan Smith. 6' 2". 238 pounds. 4.39 forty yard dash. Good lord.
  17. I'm not suggesting we need better than Pacheco. And I'd be pissed if we take a running back in the first 2 days. And other than Xen possibly, I am more against running the ball than anyone here. But it's fair to say that it has hurt us occasionally. The Patriots AFCCG, they dominated us in time of possession 44 minutes to 21. They out rushed us 176 to 41. We won the turnover battle and had only 4 penalties for 28 yards. One could argue that the difference in the game was their ability to run the ball better and the 5 yard penalty on Dee Ford was not the primary problem. The Bengals AFCCG, we had a 2 score lead with 8:48 to go in the 3rd. Patrick started to come apart a little and we either could not, or did not run the ball any more to help him out.
  18. And I can say Dee Ford's offsides alone didn't cost us. Or az21 molests collies all the time's missed field goals alone didn't cost us.
  19. That's my point. You can't say definitely that running the ball better didn't cost us a super bowl appearance. It may have been enough to have won at least 1 of those games. Or both.
  20. None the less, in either case, if we ran the ball better we possibly win. The games were tied. So doing anything better possibly swings the outcome.
  21. We did lose a couple AFCCG in overtime that we could have used some better running game in.
  22. I can kind of see how it would be awkward to be in a parade with people cheering for you when you weren't even on the roster.
