  1. 4th and 3 is a 47% conversion rate for the league. The Chiefs are better than average offensively obviously but the eagles are better than average defensively. I don't know how to account for that. But I do know we have won games against the chargers because they refused to take points at times.
  2. How many times have we seen teams use analytics against us and really shit the bed? I think reid does a good job with mixing analytics with common sense. He's definitely more aggressive than he used to be. But not stupid like some of these guys
  3. Sorry. I get it now. Butt I didn't get it at first. Cheeky.
  4. The dude is an enigma. His 44% catch rate is beyond terrible. But then he does something that seems amazing occasionally.
  5. I'm sure it's Cornell Powell we are talking about.
  6. Loved what he did in Desert Storm. Unfortunately he died I think.
  7. I'm thankful for his contributions and happy for him. And hopeful and believing that his absence will be a nonevent.
  8. Fair enough. But I think if you give him the wheel, we take a significant step back.
  9. Doesn't change the fact that nobody here thinks he contributed much to the offense.
  10. The rest of the story: Former Chiefs running back LeSean McCoy says Eric Bieniemy doesn’t have the skills to succeed with Commanders - Arrowhead Pride Honestly he's saying what a lot of us have thought and said. We have the number 1 offense in the world and also a thread hoping to get rid of the OC. That's telling.
  11. To be fair, Clark presided over the hiring od herm, Romeo, Haley and pioli.
  12. I cannot prove, but firmly believe, mitch would be a better quarterback if Andy had him the past 6 years.
  13. I didn't say you can't hire Nagy. I said I think it's fair to look at his time in Chicago and decide what went wrong. I personally don't know if they were well coached. I don't know if they had lots of penalties and discipline problems. I don't know how he put together a staff or managed it. I said I'm not sure he's the guy. I didn't say I'm sure he's not the guy.

  15. I love making fun of bill as much as anyone. But he took over a 3-13 browns team and had an 11 win playoff team in year 3. They won a playoff game and had the number 1 defense in the league. Nagy did the opposite. Started 12 and 4 and got worse every year.
  16. I mentioned this in another thread. If the Broncos scored exactly 18 points in regulation every game, they would have won 11 games.
  17. I wouldn't say he's irreplaceable, but 900 yards receivers with catch rates of 77 percent that are pretty good blockers are not just falling out of trees either. Plus he knows the system and Patrick seems to be comfortable with him.
  18. There might not be guarantees, but there are characteristics that a head coach must possess. I think that's true with the head of any organization. Guys like Reid, Parcells, Vermeil and Shula win year after year, team after team, owner after owner. Romeo sucks everywhere. McDaniels is looking like a good coordinator, bad coach. Ain't nobody here knows much about his head coaching ability and the fact that BB had success with a new job is irrelevant. Jim Plunkett won a Super Bowl at 36 after a terrible career. That's not the norm and not a justification for going after old terrible quarterbacks. Nagy might be really great. I just am not sold yet that he'd be my first choice.
  19. And some don't. That's the point. There's room for concerns and questions.
  20. It's not proven that trubisky doesn't suck because he spent his first 3 years with Nagy getting worse every year. I think none of us knows much. Lots of good coordinators are not good head coaches. His Chicago time is not necessarily proof either way, but it's a valid question.
  21. No, but he becomes the KC culture to a large extent. That's the point. Their drafting was poor while he was there. It's always a debate how much to blame the coach for that. Trubisky did not flourish under him. Don't know how much of that is on coaching.
  22. I'm down with OC. Not convinced on head coach thing. He started strong in Chicago and gradually got worse and worse. I'm not sure what all the causes were, but it's a concern for me.
