  1. I'm not irritable. I just see both sides and recognize that nobody is truly gonna be happy. The Bills came into Arrowhead and beat our ass in a prime time game. I can see how people here would take the opposite approach if things were reversed. I don't know, and neither does anyone here, what the discussion was that night. We don't know if the teams and the league were talking about a postponement or cancelation. The NFL itself didn't decide for a while if they were going to make it up. We got our number 1 seed, which was still very much in doubt. Hopefully the Patriots take care of the Bills and we take care of the Raiders and put it all to bed. It's a bad deal.
  2. The only special treatment we are getting is the possibility that we play the AFCCG at a neutral site. Otherwise we received the number 1 seed (assuming we win) and the bye. Otherwise, we came out of it pretty freaking lucky.
  3. If you were seeing it equitably, you'd see that we got an advantage because we were able to play 17 and that they were at a disadvantage for only playing 16.
  4. We didn't not earn it either. But if we were the Bills with 3 losses and a head to head win, you'd be thinking the exact opposite. We didn't earn it outright. If they beat the Patriots, then you can't say we earned it anymore than the Bills did.
  5. Yes, but they didn't. It's a mess, but I don't see how anyone can think the Chiefs got cheated.
  6. It also means that the Chiefs get one less playoff game and a bye. 4 less quarters at a critical time as you say. And the lowest remaining seed for the opportunity to advance to the AFCCG. And the two teams with a chance at the number 1 seed both beat us head to head and through some bad circumstances didn't get the opportunity either. We didn't exactly earn the number 1 seed. It was given to us and complaining about it seems a little wrong. They did the best they could and nobody was gonna be happy with it.
  7. There's also a scenario where a bengals ravens playoff game is at a neutral site.
  8. If bills and chiefs both lose and bengals win this weekend, then it applies to all three.
  9. If they both win kc is number 1 seed and gets the bye. But if they meet in afccg, it's at a neutral site.
  10. I'm guessing most of them would have been fine with playing the next day. By then, they knew Damar was alive and stable. But I'm guessing there is more to playing the next day than player willingness. You have to consider television contracts. Fans. Officials. The stadium personnel. Security. Police. Fairness to the teams in playoff contention playing on a Tuesday. Not saying these things couldn't be overcome, but putting on and NFL game is probably more involved than we realize.
  11. Not less important but not a close friend of the guys being asked to play. If you're driving down the road and see a fatal accident, you're gonna continue driving. If someone in your car dies, you'll probably take the rest of the day off.
  12. I've been hearing some interesting solutions. I don't think based in reality, but interesting none the less. 1. Add an 8th team and eliminate the bye for number 1. 2. Eliminate the 7 seed and have 2 byes. 3. Play the AFCGG at a neutral site.
  13. Yes. I hope I would. I thought that was part of the costing millions.
  14. If I was a billionaire and one of my employees died on the job, I like to think I would give everyone the night off.
  15. The Chiefs have the highest win percentage in the AFC.
  16. We are right in the middle of our "window". That puts us in win now mode and I don't see us getting rid of guys like Thuney. And also I might be out of touch, but I don't think you get a 1st rounder or 2nd rounder for a 31 year old guard. We've seen what happens when the line is shit and I can't see us getting rid of one of the best LGs in the game to save a few million. Clark is probably gone, but he's one of our few options at the edge and is playing better than the kangaroo court thinks. I just don't think a team in our situation gives up LT, LG and RT along with EDGE with the hopes of fixing that with an additional draft pick.
  17. I just read that he is intubated and in critical condition
  18. I thought maybe kraft was getting a hundred dollar rub and tug again.
  19. Stidham has one start in 3 years. He lost it. He has 5 career touchdowns and 6 interceptions. What would be an example of a quarterback that you wouldn't be scared of?
