  1. Surprise: I thought the offense would be good. I didn't think this good. Disappointment: MVS Expected: Another big year from Kelce Unexpected: O Line Play. Not the good kind of unexpected. More like the Pearl Harbor unexpected. Obvious: MVPat
  2. The point is how much resources should we devote to a project that doesn't really pay back in wins. The Jags and Raiders are led by 1st round running backs. Henry is a 2nd rounder. You didn't mention the Browns, but Chubb is a 1st rounder on a 3-5 team that runs the ball well. The Bears leading rusher is their 1st round quarterback. It's not really that they can't have good pieces on a bad team, it's that they are devoting resources to being good at something that really doesn't pay back in wins. All of them have linemen that are better run blockers than in pass protection. It shows up in their sack percentages in each and every case. If we really focus on becoming a top 10 rushing team, we need to run 7.50 yards per quarter more. About 3 additional yards per drive in rushing. I just don't think you should devote much time and effort to taking the ball out of Mahomes hands.
  3. I think when you reference the Bears, Jaguars, Raiders and Titans, your argument kind of collapses on itself.
  4. The Chargers fired Marty after a 14-2 season. Spanos seems pretty willing to move on.
  5. Yeah, I'm not counting anyone out either. But it's getting hard to see a path for the Broncos to win the division. They have 5 losses already and games against the Titans, Ravens, Chiefs, Chiefs, Chargers and Rams coming up. They just traded their best defender and seem to be looking at next year. Or some year that is not this year.
  6. To quote somebody that said something. "It's early until it's not". Still feels early, but we are approaching the halfway point and seems like the AFC West may have been a paper tiger going into the season. The other 3 teams are a combined 9-13. The Chargers having picked up Khalil Mack and dropping 80 million on J C Jackson are now the 2nd worse scoring defense in the league at 27 points a game. Realistically we are probably in a 2 horse race with them now, but so far, Chargers gonna Charge. The Broncos went out and got their man at QB and are the 2nd worst scoring offense at 15 points a game. 3 and 5 but feel much worse than that. Looking like their coach might not last the season. Raiders went out and got Chandler Jones and Adams. And they are 2-5 with wins over the Texans and Broncos. Realistically they are about out of the race already. Again, it's still early, but a bit of a lesson for all of us and the rest of the world that were talking about how we were shitting the bed in the offseason while the rest of the division was signing all the Avengers.
  7. I'm not positive that I'm understanding what you are saying, but he has played in 49 out of 73 possible games. Which is still a lot of missed games.
  8. I don't care either. But you can bet arrowhead will have an opinion.
  9. I wonder how arrowhead will treat hill? I would have thought pretty good until he started yapping.
  10. If you watch the last games highlights, Tua threw some bad balls that tyreek went up and got. I'm still not 100 convinced.
  11. I never said it was a bad trade. Just pointing out that hill has also elevated the dolphins team and made Tua a much better quarterback.
  12. Those yards have contributed to additional points and additional wins. Take out the games with the backup quarterback and the Dolphins are 5-0 and have beat the Bills. I don't think there's any doubt that Hill has elevated that team.
  13. I think it could be argued that Tyreek has made some people in Miami better also. The dude is having a season.
  14. Who was it that he pancaked? That was funny. I musta tripped on someone's foot.
