That's fair. Watson does have 250 yarda receiving in 4 years in the league. And Gordon has 32 receptions since 2018. And fountain has shined. Seriously. Wtf

I already said I'm no D Rob fan. And neither I or the Chiefs want him back I'm guessing. What I said is that I doubt there are 7 better on this roster and that's true. He's played over 50% of our offensive snaps 4 out of the past 5 years. He's averaged pretty much 400 yards a year. His catch rate is above average. He doesn't fumble. I think the most frustrating thing about him is his return game. He makes terrible decisions in that regard. Similarly he too often has negative yards after the catch trying to do too much. That said, I still doubt there are 7 better on this roster.

I was just looking at Len's stats. I didn't realize he wasn't a starter until he was 27.

This loss was obviously a pretty big set back for the team. They were able to hold Mahomes to just 60 yards passing. We went through 4 quarterbacks trying to get the offense going and it just never seemed to work. Seems like we are really missing Tyreek. And gotta question Andy on not letting the starters play through some adversity. On defense, Jones, Gay and Bolton each with just 1 tackle. Gotta wonder if they are starting to decline. Several people I have never even heard of played a far bigger role than our "stars". Overall a concerning game. Hopefully we can get back on track next week. Right now this doesn't feel like a playoff team at all.

I don't think the point is that we win a Super Bowl without Mahomes. Everyone knows that. But Mahomes might sprain an ankle in the season and the difference between 2-2 and 0-4 during that time may be the difference in even making the playoffs. It's not a security blanket it's just having a minutia of depth at the most important position in all of sports.

That might make sense for some teams but ot a super bowl contender. We need to be fielding the best team possible and that team includes Hardman and brown.
