    12-5 seems like a lock on the division at this point. The only way it isn't is if another team in the division wins out. And us finishing 5-1 makes it pretty unlikely that another team in the division wins out. Ravens are a problem obviously, but they have the Packers, Rams, Bengals, Browns and Steelers twice. Not inconceivable that they drop 2 of those.

    I'm interested to see the Patriots/Bills game(s). I was thinking the Patriots were just beating some crappy teams, but what they did to the Titans (without Henry) and the Browns (without Hunt and Chubb) makes one think they may not suck entirely. They also have a Colts game. We need some of these guys to give each other losses.

    I wasn't disagreeing with you. I think we are "stuck" also. But in general we have had some pretty amazing offense for the past 3 years so maybe whatever system they have is not all bad. I was just commenting on how he went from being perceived as one of the hottest prospects in football to an after thought pretty fast.

    Yeah, I acknowledged the shortcomings of PFF. But some of the advanced metrics are things we don't necessarily see as fans. My eye test tells me that Ward is a competent cornerback. You get some pressure and he won't embarrass you. But that's as far as my eye test takes him. He doesn't make the elite cornerback list for me and top 10 in the league is elite. To me he is closer to 72 than 10. But probably somewhere in the middle.

    I realize PFF is not God, but they have Ward ranked at 72nd. Personally, I might very well put him #3 on the team. But I could absolutely name 10 CB's that are better than Mr. Ward.
