    I'm talking about our 2021 draft class. Bolton, Humphrey and Smith look like the real deal.

    The draft class has some potential to be pretty good. Would like to have a 1st rounder to go with Humphrey, Smith and Bolton, but they are looking pretty good right now. Hoping Gray turns into something also.

    You're right. No chance that the head coaches son facing serious prison time could affect his focus for a few months. Never mind.

    I think so too, but it still seems like the team lost its mojo about that time. There were some other things with similar timing. Eric Fisher injury and the pretty humiliating Super Bowl loss for example. And the beating that Mahomes took in that game.

    I think it's not irrelevant that the most important person on the team other than possibly Mahomes may not have their heart in it like they did. If it's affecting Andy's ability to focus on the job then it's absolutely not irrelevant even though the loss of Britt's coaching is definitely irrelevant. I think something similar happened to him at the end of his Philly run and he needed a year or two to recharge.

    Seems like this team is not the same since the Britt Reid incident. Just not the same level of energy and innovation. Coincidence?

    Were it not for a some untimely turnovers, this team would be 5-1 coming off 2 Super Bowls, 3 AFCCGs, and 5 straight division titles. We have locked down the best quarterback in the league, and possibly history of the league, for 10 years. I'm probably ready to keep shining for a couple more games.
