  1. I would say yes we actually PI. It was completely unnecessary and stupid. There was zero chance he was gonna catch that ball. But he tackled him right as/before the ball got there. And yes there was PI on the hail mary that they are probably never going to call.
  2. I already pointed out how I'm too classy to wish for that. So our Karma should be fine.
  3. Fortunately I am too classy to wish injury on anyone. Otherwise, I would be hoping for 3 games. But I'm not that way.
  4. I like to think of our defensive identity as that of a French border patrol and our offense is the Americans coming in and kicking some kraut ass.
  5. He could very well under perform his draft slot. And he may be considered a bust. Hell I may consider him a bust after say 5 games. But I'm not gonna lose my shit after 2 games against 2 of the best defenses in the league.
  6. That's what the thread title is. Trent Richardson comparison. A first round running back that is famous for being a draft bust.
  7. I do remember you "quantifying" some Chiefs wins. I thought you'd never quit whining about the no call PI and "miracle" 4th down conversion. One of the wins was just an OT win. One was when Lamar was just in his 5th start or some shit.
  8. Superior to Trent Richardson stats. As per the initial post. Yards per carry, yards per game and fumbles.
  9. Ok. He's an all time draft bust. Historic. Like Trent Richardson. And as a casual fan, I know this after 2 games. Happy?
  10. I think if we have this discussion even at week 10 it might make sense. Josh Jacobs is one of the best backs in the league. He had 10 carries for 34 yards against that defense. Philip Lindsey and Mark Ingram combined for 19 carries for 43 yards against the Browns defense. This is the first time since 1970 that an offensive line has been replaced completely from tackle to tackle. We have 2 rookies starting, basically 3 counting Niang. How in the world can we be having this discussion comparing him to one of the all time draft busts after game 2?
  11. Quantified means counted. All wins are quantified. I think you mean qualified. Important distinction.
  12. What in the actual fuck are you talking about? I said you deserved the win. I just am pointing out to the chicken littles, that we weren't completely outcoached and your roster is not way better than ours. It was a close hard fought game that could have gone either way. And if CEH doesn't fumble, you had less than 25% chance of winning that game in spite of whatever you think a 21 minute drought means. Not sure what Kelce winding through defenses have to do with anything? Lamar winds through defenses, Hill does, it's what athletes do. Doesn't make them BS.
  13. In pretty much every statistic used to measure running backs, CEH is superior. Richardson also always had a questionable work ethic and his commitment and professionalism were a problem. I have heard nothing of the sort about CEH. By all accounts, he's a great kid. But we lost a game. I get it.
  14. They won by a single point at home and if not for a very unusual fumble were in a position to likely lose. They were behind most of the game, and at times were getting dominated. I'm not sure how that equates to a much better and completely outcoached. They deserved the win, but this was a hotly contested game that could have gone either way.
  15. Some of those stats are affected by rule changes favoring offense. Montana was the best of his generation and they really revolutioned the game. Thats not to say mahomea isnt better or wont be. I think he will be listed with the all time greats when he is done.
  16. Maybe you are forgetting Marc Boerigter and Snoop Minnis
  17. You really get a feel for how much the game has changed when you look at Montana and Aikman's stats. If Pat had a season with Joe Montana stats we would be sad. Except for the wins.
