First off. Eric Berry is EB so the entire thread is misleading and frankly I'm pissed. Second off. I do not have a sense how much our offensive success has to do with "EB"s input and how much is Andy. I get the feeling that "EB" is fungible, but I could be wrong.

He seems to be. It's weird because when you watch the replay it just looks like he just runs 10 yards and turns around and catches the ball. And nobody seems to be able to stop it.

I'm not saying that they never do it. All teams at all levels make adjustments. But Kareem Hunt is probably not a good example. I think we know that behind the scenes that Andy is loyal. Probably to a fault. I think we know that he is a players coach. I think we know he doesn't get pissed or shitty with people. I think we know that getting pissed and rolling heads is not his style. You think we are going to replace Hitchens after 1 game? Brown Jr? CEH? Who are we gonna replace these guys with? People on this board were losing their shit about Chris Jones' FIRST HALF of the FIRST GAME. I think the chances of wholesale change based on that first game are much less than no change at all.

I'm not sure. As far as I can tell, Andy and the staff have been pretty even keeled the entire time they have been here. I'm sure they understand that they are playing against a team that can beat anyone in the league and I'm sure they are glad for the win. I'm also sure they will look at things to improve on, and I expect they will improve. But they don't have a history of benching/demoting/firing anyone. And I think the consistent, professional approach has served us well.

My thoughts: This was always one of the "loseable" games on the schedule. We have a lot of new faces and we were missing some key people. As good teams do, we found a way to win it. And it's the kind of game we are getting used to winning instead of losing. It's early, but this game could very well have playoff and tie breaker implications. 1. Could be better for sure. 2. Will be better for sure. 3. Hard to complain about a team winning these games.

I'm no offensive coordinator, but seems like the point of Hill in a jet sweep is to get him in space. Putting 4 tight ends and 4 defensive backs in his way seems like it just mucks it up.

I think we can all agree that as long as Lamar is the quarterback, a couple of late round picks really don't matter. Maybe you'll find some OL depth. Or maybe get lucky and snag a starter that contributes. But it looks like you are hitching your wagon to LJ and you'll go as far as that takes you.

I have always believed that the Britt Reid thing had more of an effect than it was given credit for. The entire team just seemed uninspired for that game.

Maybe he sees things in practice that we don't have access to. Like I said, I'm comfortable going into the season with Mahomes as a starter. He has experience in this offense and he's done well in the past. But I hope they keep him on a tight leash and make a change at the first sign that he's struggling.

I'm fine with Mahomes winning the job. I just hope they had a fair competition and didn't just give it to him based on the big contract he signed.
