I didn't say he left the cupboard bare, just that there were a lot of dollars invested in the line at the time and a defense that was in shambles. Those three guys had big contracts and big dead cap money. And Morse was still at center at the 2018 draft. And none of them were "aging". We were all excited at the time about LDT. So it seemed like a fairly decent line at the time. And it was the line for some of the best offense in the history of the game. But this year they got blown up and it's time to deal with it.

Yeah, he took over a complete dumpster fire of a defense, changed coordinator and switched from a 3-4 to a 4-3. That has to be considered when looking at those first couple off seasons.

To be fair to Veach, Dorsey left him with a 12 million a year ish Fisher contract an 8 million ish a year LDT contract and 9 million a year ish Schwartz contract. And not a lot of draft picks in 2018. Kind of limits what you can do on the OL a little. And none of the 3 were available when we really needed them.

JPP probably still doesn't know who Remmers is. They never really were together long enough to get to know each other.

Really sucks that we didn't get a look at Niang to see what we have there going into the offseason. It also sucks that we were deprived of his services in a game that Patrick really could have used him. So far, I am not a huge fan.

Could probably add Britt Reid's accident to the February suckage.

I guess you upgrade every chance you get at every position you can (within financial restraints). But old cornerbacks are a low priority for me and this team right now. And with our cap position and other needs, I don't see this being a real option. But who knows. I would not be mad about it, just don't think we are in a position to even really think much about it.

I don't always understand how the rating works, but as the game went on, we had to become pretty one dimensional. As we did, their pass rush took over the game. A few drops did not help.

Thanks Hands. Stings today, but we will look back on the past 3 years as a great time in Chiefs history.

Those timeouts were a lot of risk and not much reward potential.

I'm unclear as to why HB talking trash to Brady is his first such penalty towards disqualification and trash talking to Hill is not.

I could not help wondering as i watched the game how much the britt reid thing had to do with it. They were not the same team.
