  1. I think some people here are underselling LF's ability, but we just burned a 1st round pick on the position and probably aren't in the market for someone that's gonna want to be a feature back.
  2. My time is Friday at 10 AM. I hope they still have some available. What a fucking pisser.
  3. With 750k, Veach could sign Tyreek to a 5 year 150 million dollar extension.
  4. So there's cap space freed up. Accentuate the positives and eliminate the negatives.
  5. With no actual preseason games would undrafted guys like Brian Waters, Deron Cherry, Priest Holmes etc. have had the same chance to make the roster? Are they able to evaluate enough in training camp to make those kinds of decisions?
  6. He certainly could. Or he might not. We will know in 6 years. For now he is a great player and a great chief and im glad he is getting extended.
  7. I'm not sure what "best receiving stats" or "age/experience" means exactly. When Gonzo was the same age as Kelce he had 8700 yards to Kelce's 6400. Kelce would have to average 1237 yards per year to catch him by the time he is 37. In the past remarkable 4 years, and in the middle of his prime and without much injury, he averaged 1182 per year. He got too late of a start to really threaten TG's career numbers I'm afraid. But he's one of the all time greats and his place in the Chiefs history book is set as one of the franchise's best ever.
  8. I'd probably tap the brakes a little on that. But I do like Kelce a lot. It's hard to know what Tony G would do in this offense. He had almost 1200 yards one season with Damon Huard at the helm.
  9. Better yet teach him to kick like Butker. Cap space and a roster spot cleared.
  10. New plan. Teach Tyreek to pass like Mahomes. And teach Mahomes to run like Tyreek. I cannot imagine the problems this will cause defenses. You line up not knowing who is going to throw it to whom. Complete pandemonium.
  11. There's only so many new deals to go around. Especially with the new salary cap numbers. And his age. We really need to look hard at a new version of Kelce in the draft. Hate to see him go and I hope they can work something out, but that's gonna be a tough one.
  12. I don't think it's necessarily old lady like to realize that as 24 year old is more at risk in the worlds fastest car than he is in pretty much every other car. And I think those cars probably are law enforcement magnets. And while a cop would probably be killed for giving Mahomes a DUI for a couple of beers in his system, it could happen. I'm thinking about it more from what I would do if I had a car like that at that age. And it wouldn't be good. But as I said, I'm happy for him and I trust him. But ultimately he's a kid with a fast car and there's risk with that. We'd be on Fast and Furious 25 by now if there wasn't. But he deserves a big contract and he seems happy here. Happy for the kid and I'm happy for us fans to have him.
  13. It seems like if you are opting out for COVID safety then you should not be a practice and team meetings. But I'm not sure what the actual rule is.
  14. Agreed. That's a strange thing to do for someone just drafted into the NFL.
