With 148 to go, we were up by 3 and had the ball 1st and 10 on the Tennessee 32 yard line. And we lost. That takes a lot of poor planning.

My bad. You are right. The field goal would have given us and 8 point lead with a minute to go and kicking deep. Instead, they got the ball at midfield down 2.

If not for a fluke bad snap we probably make a field go to go up 12 with about 7 minutes to go and we kick deep with a two touchdown lead. Instead we gave them the ball at midfield down just 9. Then, kind of like yesterday happened to the Texans, the wheels came off.

I saw a Honey Badger interview last night and they were asking how to stop Henry. I thought his answer was probably honest. He said you have to collectively want to tackle Henry. He's a punishing runner. He had a big first game against us, but a lot of that came on the 68 yard run. We forced 4 punts. It's not like we couldn't stop them. I think at home, we handle them.

Somebody owes Veach an apology. It's hard to imagine how he could have done a better job of fixing that defense in one season. And adding some pieces throughout the season that have really contributed. Great job. I am proud of this team.

Charvie Ward.
Disappointment.
Patrick Mahomes. Don't get a bunch of sand in your vaginas. Still great, and injuries played a part, but I expected him to be other worldly again. His accuracy seemed a little off to me and he seemed to make some bad decisions that he got away with.

He saved our bacon last year. And he looked pretty good doing it. I am not saying he sucks, but I don't think he's the solution at RB.

It's not just his lack of production in Miami, it's where he was on their depth chart and his production relative to others there. Two backs, Lamar and Ajayi, had 1000 yard seasons during his time there so it's not like they weren't capable. He played 4 seasons there. Not until Cutler arrived did he outrush the quarterback. In 4 years there he was their 5th, 6th, 4th and 3rd leading rusher. I don't hate the guy, but I think he is who he is at this point.

Frank Gore is the exception to the rule. Shady still contributes. I'm glad we have him, but he's not currently better than meh. And he won't be playing when he's 36.

Our O-Line is not the greatest for sure. But Damien Williams, who I guess is our feature back, spent 4 years in Miami where he averaged 119 yards per SEASON and 3.6 per carry. Our other "feature back" is 31 and in serious decline with a fumble to touchdown ratio that makes him hard to trust. I'd say meh is a fair description of our backs.

When the Chiefs are healthy we are like 12-0. When we are beat to shit we are like 5-5. Some of those rushing stats may mirror when we were hurt, but we are a tough tough out when we are healthy.

This game boils down to what jersey I wear. If I wear my Tamba Hali jersey, we win. If I wear my white Mahomes jersey we probably win. My LDT M.D. jersey and it's a coin toss.

They are done. They will still be a playoff team because their division is so weak but they are not gonna be the patriots anymore. And it’s not just Brady. Their drafts have been bad lately. Gronk is gone. Edelman is getting old. Probably losing McDaniels again.
