  1. I don't take much from the last game. Mahomes was not himself with the ankle injury. Lots of other injuries and we were not playing that well at the time. The defense hadn't quite figured it out yet. We are a better team and are playing well to end the season. We had a bye week. I think win this one fairly easily.
  2. Well he has a nice figure apparently based on his wardrobe.
  3. Who are you rooting for? me: Patriots. Can’t stand them and normally would never root for them. But I want to dick slap them in arrowhead and end their reign of terror personally. Bills. They’ve suffered a lot. They deserve something good.
  4. I would offer Mahomes 100 million for 15 years as a starting point. And then promise to find a Victoria's Secret for him to marry.
  5. I wonder how some of our other corners might have done if Spags had been here instead of Sutton.
  6. I was just answering the question. I think Ward has been fine. I don't know if I'd go with "shutdown corner" yet, but in general he's been pretty good.
  7. No. He has 7 holding and 1 pass interference penalties.
  8. Brady has done it for years. Doesn't mean Mahomes will, but if anyone mightI could see him being that type. https://www.boston.com/sports/new-england-patriots/2018/06/09/tom-brady-salary-contract-in-2018-forbes-list
  9. His commercials are a lot better than the State Farm crap mahomes signed up for.
  10. I think you could also call it a patience thing. Throughout the season here's a list of the people that I remember having specific threads either calling for them jobs or calling them a big mistake/problem. Brett Veach, Andy Reid, Honey Badger, Mecole Hardman, Frank Clark, Chris Jones, Dave Toub, Travis Kelce. I'm sure there's a lot more, but these stand out.
  11. Confirmed ACL. Sucks for him to get to the playoffs and have to watch. Good season for a rookie safety. I hope he has a speedy recovery.
  12. I cared about 3 and 4 because I'd rather see the Patriots in the second round than the Ravens. That's a big deal. You gotta beat them eventually, but I'd rather play them last than right away. You never know, somebody else could knock them off for you.
  13. I expect we will open our next game with The Annexation of Puerto Rico for a quick score.
  14. I'm saying we were in danger of the 4th seed. In the same way the Patriots were in danger of the 3 seed. Unless there's nothing to play for, you play for seeding. I felt there was a higher probability of slipping to 4 than jumping to 2, but I didn't want to play backups in a game with potential seeding implications.
  15. Yeah, I'll be sad no matter what. But losing to the Patriots would cause me to rend my clothes and gnash my teeth like the Old Testament stuff.
  16. We absolutely were in danger of that. If we sat starters and lost that game, the Texans would have played their starters and had a real shot of finishing with identical 11-5 records with them having the head to head tie breaker.
  17. I didn't want to rest the starters, but not because I really thought we had a shot at the 2 seed. I just didn't want the 4 seed.
  18. There's no doubt that the better teams tend to play themselves into the bye. But there's more to it than that. A bye week followed by a home game is a huge advantage this time of year.
  19. Nothing would make me happier than beating the Patriots in Arrowhead by about 50 points and having Tom Brady's career and the Patriots dynasty end in epic fashion in front of my eyes. But nothing would make me sadder than losing to the Patriots in Arrowhead.
