I think so as well. Looks like a guy they have been targeting for the 3rd day all along and has a lot of good reports that make him look like a 2nd day pick that simply fell. I think he ends up starting within a couple years hence the steal of this draft.

Sherman is on a veteran salary exception, cutting him doesn't save anything. Even though I would love to get rid of Reiter that just doesn't make any sense at this point. LDT retiring would be more likely but then again he wouldn't just restructure his deal.

Looks like they are pushing everyone we have to OG The only reason we'll have to suffer LDT for another year might be the lack of OTAs to get youngsters up to speed. 2020 will probably be the worst rookie season in recent history (including 2013?).

I don't think we had the best draft possible but IMO the grade is B. We have upgraded one starter at RB and there's a very good chance that we have a serious addition to our front 7. Other than that we have a high reward guy in Niang who'll at worst be a decent swing tackle for a few years. The rest are project guys so tough to say much about them. Looking at the slots players have been drafted I think we could end up with a better draft but obviously hindsight is 20/20.

I would be willing to take a flyer on him. Nobody has a medical on him so GMs are probably skeptical but Chiefs could always decide not to sign him to a full contract if he turns out to be done for life. The price is definitely worth the potential gain.

Even though most won't even last until TC we still have some exciting names in the mix.

We picked a college backup Could have gotten Adeniji for OG who is my sleeper in this draft.

Giving up a pick next year out of nowhere means they are actually high on this guy or feel the need in the position. Anyhow not a bad idea assuming we'll get some comp. picks next year.

Wiz has a history of decent play and showed it in the playoffs. Definitely would have been helpful to have a better OG than what we have on the roster for that cheap. Wylie showed promise on the right side but definitely not working out at LG, don't know how the rest will turn out.

With the need for a swing tackle I doubt they move Niang out of position. Keep him at OT and let's see if he can evolve into a starter. We don't have enough picks but there are still some decent interior linemen available. Definitely should have cut LDT and kept Wiz for whatever he got from Steelers. I'm guessing we'll be on the market for some June 1 cuts.

All I've read about him is focusing on the injuries and rather thin calfs. Other than that the reviews are mostly resembling a 1st round guy. From what I understand he has most potential among non 1st round OTs but also more risks due to injury concerns.

Would have been happier with Hennessy in 2nd and a LB in 3rd but didn't turn out bad IMO. Swing tackle in 3rd means the starter in a year or two which is already a need and hopefully we won't be in a position to pick an instant starter at LT for the next decade. Willie Gay reports sound exactly like Spags' type so he probably wanted him in 2nd and Veach obliged. I doubt Robertson would last an entire round for us to pick at the end of 4th but him or any decent CB combined with an OC in 5th would be a good draft IMO.

Yep, may be a QB in late 2nd or 3rd that turns out to be an elite guy could be considered a steal but other than that you can only reach on the first two days, steals are simply after that.

Not sure if you can have a non-QB steal in 1st. A steal should be low investment, high return guy.
