  1. BB. It's basically Reid's pre-Mahomes career. I think that would be considered very successful for BB. Everybody knows that the duo of BB + Brady attracted FAs for cheap and without those FAs pouring into town consistently getting to playoffs would be good for The combined success allowed them to make great business choices but it won't be as easy now and BB might start learning to pay his own guys to retain a decent squad.
  2. Washington finished last season strong. Surprised he's available but definitely a good addition to the TC roster.
  3. I'm thinking Speaks on defense. He was a high pick but somewhat overlooked by missing an entire season. Probably a good time to get his mind at the right place and come back strong. I also think Fenton will be a decent rotational guy from day one but he showed a lot of promise to end last season so don't know if he counts as a surprise. On offense I'm high on Thompson at RB and Seal-Jones at TE. Both have good upside and due to having solid starters in front of them can only be decent rotational guys. I'm hoping Hardman makes a big splash to cement himself as the #3 WR and possibly move up the depth chart early on. We need him to take care of the #2 WR need for 2021.
  4. Well there's not much an offense can do if it's built like a one-man HS lineup. Playoff defenses won't let that QB live.
  5. Bowe definitely had the numbers, 3 1K seasons but sucked whenever it was clutch. LJ was simply a product of the OL IMO. Once we started losing guys he went down to averaging 2-3 yards per carry. Charles would have probably broken a few NFL records if he played exactly in LJ's timeline. #32 also has the value of being a 1st round pick. Even moving up a single spot is worth something for any team that's hoping to invest a couple years on a high reward guy. I'm guessing a trade back to early 2nd is always on the table.
  6. Williams is gone after next season as well so there's not much difference between him and Kamara in terms of contract years. Kamara will cost much more to keep after 2020 but either way there'll be a RB need so might as well get a comp. pick in the process. I don't think the trade makes any sense for Saints though. LDT is crap and no need to downgrade at RB to turn a 5th into a very late 3rd.
  7. This is KC, rules are very simple: No WR (Bowe, Baldwin) or RB (LJ) in 1st. RBs must be drafted only in the 3rd (Charles, Hunt).
  8. Definitely a solid team. Still amazes to see Browns find so much talent all over the team and keep failing with crappy QBs.
  9. Don't blame the WRs, they didn't have a QB to throw them the ball.
  10. 53-man rosters won't cut it under these circumstances. NFL would have to increase the roster size quite a bit, creating more cost to the teams. TV revenue won't suffer, in fact it'll likely go up but with the loss of stadium revenues I don't think NFL will be able to operate with so much loss. May be the owners decide to go ahead and cover the added costs themselves but that is a very slim possibility.
  11. He needs to put more air under it during a game so the range won't be there but I'm curios if he could actually break the record. That being said doesn't look that windy when looking at the trees.
  12. $173.5 is a decent figure but never hurts to have some wiggle room. An even $200 should be enough though.
  13. Solid move IMO. He showed signs of life in Cleveland, should only flourish here with Mahomes. Don't know how he is in blocking though, but good receiver.
  14. Makes a lot of sense. You never know what will be there for #32 and someone who worked well in your system that didn't find what he wanted in FA is a good option prior to the draft.
  15. There's still time for that. I'm guessing a specific FA might be the reason.
  16. I think you are giving a glorified HB too much credit. Ravens built a very good team for sure but Jackson will suffer the same faith as running QBs the year after they make their mark.
  17. That's most likely the case but I was expecting something more team-friendly. 9 million that could go up to 16 isn't really a discount from a guy who played well 3 games in the past season.
  18. The incentives during the season will be reflected on the next year as the best case scenario, some might hit this year but I doubt there are any easy incentives of that sort as that would beat the purpose of creating cap space. Not sure how the cap will turn out to be in 2021 but with Watkins' guarantees all over in his current deal I would expect Veach to come up with something more team-friendly. If he thought Watkins had more value in FA then a trade could have been a good option.
  19. So we have 16 million cap hit in 2020 and could end up with 7 million for 2021. I doubt those are easy incentives but doesn't look like a good job by Veach if you ask me or he has an immediate plan for that 5 million cap space.
  20. Possibly the best thing I've seen on twitter since the dancing pallbearers
  21. Ragland probably didn't get a big deal that will matter as much so we won't hear about "reports" coming out. He'll provide a plus as FA left but that's it.
  22. The other way around worked far worse for Luck and the Colts. I'm not saying to ignore skill positions but OL in front of a star QB has a higher priority than the receivers.
  23. A single mistake by the OL could cost us a season or more (aka Luck). It's all about protecting Mahomes at this point and as he progresses he'll start turning street FAs to pro-bowlers at receiver as long as we keep him healthy. I believe we need another TE more than any other skill position on offense but definitely not at the expense of OL.
