    They have the building blocks of a solid defense but definitely will lose a lot of talent once Brady retires. I think they'll be solid but not as dominant going forward.

    He's one of those players the fan base wants to see gone but ends up surviving throughout his contract. Wouldn't be surprised if he stays another year.

    We have a terrible history of estimating the recovery times. They anticipated guys like DJ, Hali, Houston, LDT, Charles to return much sooner than they ended up doing. I don't know if the staff is actually this optimistic among themselves or if it's just what we end up hearing as the public but the staff seems way too optimistic.

    Fuller was considered to get a similar type of deal to Nelson, I doubt we pay him that much to move him to Safety with the assumption of Thornhill coming back at some point. I don't know his market worth after this season though.

    It's up to the doctors to decide. Even though we have a terrible record of anticipating recoveries we still need to trust the doctors. If they believe he won't come back 100% we should be on the market for a replacement but with the way he played this year that won't be an easy task.

    Does that include the penalties as well? Nevertheless some plays stay in mind over others and Ward has been in quite a few of those to begin the season.

    There's no real time limit but the signing bonus cannot exceed 5 years so that's why most contracts are done for 6. It would be possible to make a 10-year deal but that would require some weird guarantees involved.

    Ward has given up quite a few first downs but he sure is solid in the endzone. He started the year a bit inconsistent but has been really good later on. Looks like we have a legit starter in our hands for the future.

    I think Pat gets the highest QB salary but doesn't really push the market as high as he could. He knows the importance of a team to win. I think Mahomes simply gets the highest QB contract but loses the "highest" within a year or two at most.

    Henry is the best RB in the league right now playing behind a very nasty OL. AFCC game is definitely the ideal place to play them.

    Not really a patience thing. The staff simply hid the injury from public. We'll see even more dominant performances from a healthy Clark during his time in KC.

    Not really sure if sitting out a month helps a RB in the playoffs. Might need some rest to explode in the playoffs due to age but just a demotion to the 3rd RB is also likely. Williams definitely helped his cause with those persistent runs.

    I'm not exactly sure about the game but we are one of the few teams where 8 active linemen isn't enough to comfortably get through games.

    We'll probably find a way to take care of it in the short term but definitely need another long term option.

    That one season fooled and ruined us. I agree BB will find a veteran QB of high caliber but if he decides to stay around and go for a young QB that's definitely a lost season.

    Without Brady that's a 6-7 win schedule at best.

    Looked like Ware was getting the nod over a few guys but I guess we'll have to suffer some blocking issues in the backfield.

    17 might be a bit generous for a Chargers team with nothing to win but wouldn't be surprised if we rest a few guys on defense so who knows. I doubt Rivers will stay in the game after a couple sacks, he'll just leave and create some nice drama for all the AFC West to enjoy.

    He hasn't been playing Safety though. Looks like that was a bad assessment of him and definitely much better playing closer to the LOS.

    Spags didn't have a good tenure as a HC so I think he'll have to sit out a few years before getting the job again. You never know in the NFL but I think he won't be getting a HC offer for another year or two.

    Rivers already said that he'll play in 2020 so might want to sit this one out as a free agent and I'm not sure if the Chargers benefit from risking offseason injury to critical players. That being said even if fully healthy and playing we should be able to take care of business but I'm not sure how either team will approach this game.
