  1. Looking at guys like Kpass and Ogbah who were both considered to be busts there's definitely some solid coaching going on at the line and with so much young talent this could be a very cheap & solid group for the next few years.
  2. Wouldn't be surprised if we keep Pennel around either. Looked like a solid rotational guy in the last couple games. Definitely worth one of those couple million deals to hang around for a year or two. In case of Jones I think a tag is a guarantee at this point unless they are willing to spend the cash on him sooner. There's very little, if any, chance that he'll sign prior to FA if they are not working on a deal right now.
  3. The focus isn't the greatness of Erich Fisher, it's the ineptness of Cam Erving.
  4. Could tackle him if he wanted that's for sure
  5. I think it makes sense with the way Moore was running for his life. With this OL we should just ignore the couple million in cap and keep as many decent QBs as possible. I don't know about Henne's arm but he has been here long enough to learn the system so doesn't hurt to have him here.
  6. Considering that he's a 300-pound guy with a lot of muscle I'm guessing you have his consent. Would be weird to see him in #MeToo
  7. Hill was supposed to be out there blocking but defenders were way too slow to block so he simply assisted Williams to the end zone, just very very very funny.
  8. It's not that big of a deal when you light it up with Mahomes but doing it with Moore is extraordinary, he basically won us the game.
  9. Reid knows how to maximize the offensive capabilities of his team which is generally enough to be competitive and get to the playoffs. When you are so good in one aspect of the game it keeps you in the game regardless. Even when we get vastly dominated (like the playoff loss to Pats in 2015) the performance doesn't reflect on the scoreboard.
  10. Great win. I think the defense is coming around as well, a lot more attitude compared to day 1 and youngsters have some talent.
  11. I like the way defense started, definitely some fire in that group.
  12. It's definitely easier to be good at other aspects of the game when you don't have to worry about protecting the ball. We need a sure handed guy who can fall forward, I wouldn't mind giving the youngsters the bulk of the touches to see what they are made of.
  13. Atkins is much better right now and could be so for a couple more years but Williams is much younger and has a decent upside with a good staff around him. Either player would be a huge boost to our interior line asap.
  14. He has like 4-5 target a game, assuming Gordon can stay on the field Hardman will get 2-3 at most and on top of that could even be relegated to a #5 WR role. Definitely not a way to develop anyone.
  15. Yeah let's pick up a headcase to hinder the development of our 2nd round investment and the promising youngster in Pringle as well as devaluing the comp. pick coming from Robinson.
  16. Just give Moore all the reps and sit out Mahomes even if he can play. Let him rest that ankle and get back to 100%.
  17. Why are you guys acting like he won't be back?
  18. Not sure if it's a downgrade with the youngsters actually doing better against the run. There's still a difference between having Jones in town for the season and sending him sooner but the price difference should make that a meaningful decision otherwise it's just a waste of a few months of decent pass rush.
  19. That's Reid's definition of day to day, not much I can do about it 🤷‍♂️
  20. Reid said he's day to day so hopefully in 2020 unless he retires.
  21. Are we looking around for backups in the market or is it Shurmur's job right now?
  22. The 8 point shift might even be generous in today's NFL. Moore looked very out of shape but a whole week and a half as "the man" might make things very different but Mahomes was the reason we were considered winners regardless of our shortcomings.
  23. Can't really do much about LDT in the short term. He has 4 million dead money for next season which could make sense but LG and OC are probably higher priority issues so I think he's in town until 2021 when his dead money will be minimal.
  24. I sort of like that we have those 2 losses in the schedule. Still have a nice cushion in the division so no rush in that account. Lack of home field helps make better decisions regarding lingering injuries.
