    Veach talked about how talented Erving was and wasted inside. IMO there's room for such errors in trade/draft market. We saved some money by replacing Reid with him and may be he turns out to be a decent LG who knows. Definitely wasn't an upgrade over anyone last year though.

    I expect a similar defense in the division as none of the offenses improved considerably. Broncos will likely be better with a fix at QB but the sample size is too small so we cannot be sure. Also the staff seem to be very good at analyzing the AFC West. The problem has been offensive meltdowns in the playoffs against non-division opponents and hopefully that changes with Mahomes. Last year defense basically caught up to the offense in that regard but the group was so thin.

    Safeties will be pinned deep to stop the outside guys and Kelce + Conley will be feasting in the middle. Way too many weapons assuming Mahomes will meet the expectations.

    With Watkins and Hill on the outside we should see a lot of these throws. Can't wait.

    We already expect all 3 of these guys to be in the first team rotation so they will obviously be in the rotation during camp. The critical thing is that we need these guys to actually keep their rotational spots by the end of preseason.

    Kissel's report makes me think that Watts' injury is relatively minor. Hopefully he doesn't end up being yet another mid round Safety to never make it due to injuries.

    Let's just hope "carted off" is just a precaution and he comes back soon.

    Mahomes has a higher ceiling than either guy IMO. Natural arm talent with great personality (as far as we've seen). Mentally he might be the best of the bunch, which is generally the most important factor for a QB.

    I think Watson earned some praise after exceeding the expectations as a rookie. Still need to see if he's the next RG3 or the real deal. Trubisky on the other hand had a below average rookie performance.

    I wouldn't be surprised to see McGloin end up as the odd man out. Some praise from Reid is basically a guarantee to get picked up by some other team and Litton already got quite a bit of that.

    Can't wait to see Mahomes in real action with the 1st team. This will be a fun TC.

    If the QB moves anger you so much you'll probably hate being a Chiefs fan much more. We had only one promising QB in my lifetime (Mahomes) and I'm 33

    Great topic. Also from scout.com, 33 years old living in Kirkland just outside Seattle. I was born in October of 1983 so only a few months after the Chiefs selected their last first round QB prior to Mahomes, so I might be cursed. Been a Chiefs fan since my early teens back when my father was stationed in Leavenworth. Then went to KU. I used to go to 2-3 games in Arrowhead every season but couldn't manage it in the last 2 years so hoping to make up for the lost time soon.
