  1. I'm pretty sure Reid is going to screw up the fun at half time and not wipe them off the face of the earth Should enjoy it while we can.
  2. Yep, make them go 2-dimensional. If we only stick to the pass they have a much easier time to get some stops. Just run a few times and see how they try to adjust.
  3. Not really a critical addition but with the lingering injuries this season never hurts to have another option in the mix. TBH based on the small sample size I would prefer a healthy Toney over Hardman but doesn't hurt to have both.
  4. Reid interviews have always been crap, he's too much of a players' coach to tell the truth but looks like EB is the same. I would at least expect to see some emphasis on competition for the roster spot.
  5. Any regular player should be a trade candidate at 29 and any contract that'll be over at 30 should likely stay put but Jones is one of those players that elevate this defense. He'll definitely start regressing but I don't think it'll be an issue until he's 31 or 32 so a decent extension should make a lot of sense for both sides.
  6. I would likely go for a RT and DT as the primary FA targets and look to compliment with a DE like Flowers or Winovich who could provide an Ogbah-like surprise. We'll likely have to look at the draft for LT and with the position being paramount for this franchise I wouldn't even rule out trading up but some players will likely slide.
  7. At some point it stops being funny and just becomes pure sad but for Broncos there's a bit more time for that
  8. Quite a bit of rookies suck during their first preseason camp and turn out to be solid players for years to come. Don't know where he's at right now but Wylie edging him out few months ago may not necessarily mean that Kinnard is still worse.
  9. Good to see the staff trying to shake things up.
  10. Fisher did a decent job at RT in his rookie season. Obviously he has been at LT for far too long to not stay there but I wouldn't mind Fisher at LT with OBJ at RT at this point. Can't be too picky with a crap OT play like this
  11. We seem to be rotating around the same old OG bunch in Wylie and Allegretti but I don't think either is worth anything. Curious about Kinnard but not sure if we'll see any of him this year.
  12. OBJ is gone after this season for sure, glad he didn't accept last year's offer. I don't mind tying up huge money on the left side of the line but don't know if there are any viable FA options out there. A decent LT through the draft with Thuney next to him as he adjusts to the NFL may be the way to go for us which means we need to fix the immediate DL need in FA. Again it's a matter of who's available I guess.
  13. I believe Thuney's presence at LG also helps Creed a lot at OC so not sure if I would be comfortable moving him around. We need an answer at LT but creating another hole on the line isn't really the way to go.
  14. I think they already tried him at DE but that didn't turn out to be as effective. However they need to figure something out to shake things up at pass rush.
  15. At this point OBJ should be aware that nobody is going to give him a massive LT deal and try to get as much as he can as a RT, where his value is likely higher. In our case I can see us drafting OTs with 2 of the first 3 picks. This offense needs a safe Mahomes more than anything else.
  16. I believe the issue is that besides the Colts game we lost against possible contenders which is the part that may be worrisome. On the other hand I believe we can beat both teams as well as any other in the NFL, just need to do that when we get the chance.
  17. Definitely, we might finish with only 3 losses in the year. The only thing that annoys me is that Reid has been getting out-coached on offense more often than before.
  18. HFA is a circumstantial thing in today's NFL. Certain cities, like LA, doesn't have any home field so they are extremely irrelevant but real football cities with a solid fan base create a big advantage. I believe we would have won some tough playoff games of the Smith-era if we played them at home. I think the interesting bit from older times is the success of the wild card teams. I'm pretty sure it's a relatively small stat but they felt to be a bit more successful than some teams enjoying the bye (#2 seeds).
  19. Really like Toney's potential but it's a matter of staying healthy or not. Hopefully he'll bounce back and become a productive player for at least the duration of his rookie deal. If not, then the risk of a 3rd and a 7th is definitely worth that potential IMO. Can't always strike gold.
  20. Most hated Pats in AFC, Cowboys in NFC. Commanders are too irrelevant for me either way. Least hated Browns(AFC) and Lions(NFC) as both are just too funny
  21. I can see a 3 or 4-year extension coming up for Jones after this season. His cap number for next season is already very high and he has been doing great.
