May be trying to prove that his weird plays will work to whomever cares about that? I don't think he realizes that those things make him look lucky as opposed to the right plays which would make him look smart.
Hill didn't even have a target until the end in the second half, Kelce was barely utilized. Yet Reid found a way to throw the ball to anyone that doesn't know what to do with it.
Screw the #2 WR, they need a playcaller that's going to run the ball. Otherwise who cares about a #2 WR. In fact giving Reid another toy to play with may just be enabling him for the worse.
Any coach that can't run 3 yards with a real formation is an idiot, especially with a line that has been dominating the defense all game long on the ground. Instead Reid tries to give them all the chance in the world to make something happen and we end up with a fumble.
You waste two plays with throws to Robinson and Hardman and only go for a real receiver in a deep ball. Not even thinking about running the ball which has been working literally all game long.
