  1. Not the penalty itself but missing a day or two (not sure about the exact time) doesn't help us get rid of the love affair with the duo.
  2. Bills and Ravens know perfectly well that this time of the year is the only thing that counts. Bills basically built the team to face us and showed how much they are obsessed with the Chiefs earlier in the season. I don't see this one being any easier just because they have some media love, they'll be just as focused and even if we don't screw ourselves up with penalties and turnovers it'll still be a tough one.
  3. I think we'll see a lot of Niemann today after Gay's perfect timing. He barely played when there were no issues and now after missing a couple days I don't see Spags giving up on his beloved duo. I hope I'm wrong, Gay is really a playmaker on defense.
  4. Looks like Poles is up to the task, Vikings would be my choice as they have some talent as opposed to the Giants. Always nice to see someone leave and be successful to pave the way for other guys.
  5. Not sure if EB gets a job but I doubt they'll cut him. It's more likely that he goes back to college and we promote someone like Kafka but doesn't look like anyone likes EB as a NFL HC material.
  6. Rodgers is one of the most talented QBs in the NFL but he's just not as clutch as some other guys when it matters. I'n pretty sure we would have lost easily against the Packers if he played but also if we faced them now I'm pretty sure we would win rather easily. Sometimes I think he just gives up on the team.
  7. I remember him being the highest paid OC (may even be interior OL?) at that time, just wasn't sure about our cap situation. We suffered quite a lot due to that move, Morse was decent when healthy but not at the same level. Now we have one of the best, if not the best, OCs in the NFL and the line looks a lot better compared to pretty much anything we've had for years.
  8. That's a rather cheap tab for that list. He should just get brand new of everything and be done with this whole mess for something like 2K.
  9. Yep, letting him walk was the smart decision but at the same time Chiefs were trying to sign Jensen from TB. So they understand the need for the position but Morse just wasn't the right guy to keep. Hudson was a huge mistake but I don't necessarily remember the economics of the team back then, still they should have kept the best OC in the NFL around.
  10. Yep, it's often overlooked how we shot ourselves in the foot time after time in the first half of the season. When the right lessons are learned that's a very productive process for a solid team. If we didn't have Mahomes or a defense that stepped up tremendously that streak would have meant the end of the season but for those that make it to the playoffs such streaks generally lead to the big prize.
  11. Tough question. I'd like to believe they learned their lesson but a GM/scout can always fall in love with a specific prospect. In terms of the position RB has no value in late 1st as the stars are already gone and with the committee approach of the college there's really not that much difference between a late 1st and another prospect on the 2nd day. The shelf life is still limited and the risk of injury simply makes RB a bad pick early in the draft. On the other hand undrafted prospects can do wonders but not as common. They generally take a year or two to develop so something in between makes the most sense. 3rd - 4th should be ideal to pick a RB IMO and could add more prospects later on. Spend the higher picks on players that can actually be around for a decade.
  12. Not holding my breath either but never hurts to add former 1st round picks. There's generally some potential and this regime has been relatively good in polishing those.
  13. It's true that speed can't be taught, could be improved but just a negligible amount. However I think CEH can develop his vision and already showed a few good examples. I don't think he'll ever have Holmes or JC type vision but that's somewhat of a luxury. I don't know about Reid's choice in terms of CEH vs someone else but I wouldn't be surprised if McKinnon or Williams end up with more snaps than CEH.
  14. As someone who just lost a vacuum to depreciation I understand her concerns but #FreeWillie campaign should get her a brand new one with all the bells and whistles at this point.
  15. Too bad it's closed on Mondays I'm pretty sure a lot of Bills fans could use it right after the game.
  16. I remember when Pioli used to answer "we've got a quarterback" every single time they asked him in the combine about QBs 🤢
  17. I know it's a crazy idea even to contemplate but may be put Gay on the field 🤔
  18. He's starter material if he can stay healthy for an extended period of time with major workload. Otherwise games like these will be the highlight of his career with no permanent role anywhere. I hope he holds up at least for a couple months.
  19. We lost to all 3 teams in the playoffs and weren't even competitive in 2 of them. Let's f*ck them one by one but no reason to write off anyone in the playoffs.
  20. He has a very special speed, not running out of control but rather with quite a bit of sense. However he has fundamental issues like ball protection and basic route running. I think the talk about Hardman would be much different if he was a 3rd day pick. A major issue is that he's so rarely used, that's very tough to build a rhythm for any player without consistent role. I don't think the staff is helping him out in that regard. However it's also up to him to turn into a trustworthy option. Pringle has a very similar production but looks much better due to the low investment and seems to be the reliable option when called upon.
  21. Never liked night games and the anticipation is simply worse.
  22. Allen is definitely a stud. Wouldn't be surprised to see Chiefs vs Bills in quite a few AFC title games in the future.
  23. No matter how much I hate the Faiders I just cannot take Bengals seriously enough to enjoy this one. Still I hope they win but they will likely be an easy target next week.
