  1. Definitely, that's why it stands out much clearer than a single SB win. I think Reid is capable of doing so and has the most special talent to enable him so it's really plausible.
  2. Well if he has some Trent Richardson type value for some GM he could bring in a mid round pick but at this point I don't know if anyone likes him that much. I could be wrong but most of the rookie cap hits go away in a trade which should make it an attractive option for us. If we can get something like a 3rd for CEH and may be a 5th for Hardman if someone bites, that's a decent haul IMO. Resign Williams and bring in a bruiser for change of pace and we should be set at RB and start looking for a decent possession receiver in FA.
  3. Not a slight on any of the names listed but I would take Smith over quite a bit of those guys. It's much easier for linemen to fall in rankings as a single mistake goes a long way so Creed's achievement is extraordinary. That being said, this seems to be one of the best draft classes in recent years. Don't know for a fact but I think it wouldn't be far fetched to say that top 50 of this year are solid prospects for years to come.
  4. Yep, multiple SB wins bring a whole other category. 2 is already a great tier but getting to 4 makes NFL history. Quite a bit of people into the NFL know the names of coaches they have never watched just because of multiple SB wins.
  5. Same here and I was one of those that blamed his inefficiency to lack of use but the guy just can't stay healthy when it matters. Don't know how his rookie deal is structured but I'm pretty sure they won't get through the offseason with CEH written down as the #1 RB.
  6. I think the only real legacy for a HC is the SB wins. Let's just hope last year was just a speed bump on a long streak.
  7. I would put OT in that list. Niang is solid but not healthy enough to be reliable so we need someone else in the mix who'll possibly be the starting RT as early as next year. My approach would be to get a WR in FA as they apparently take too long to develop in this regime. Wouldn't mind doing that with OT either, a stop gap would help us quite a lot.
  8. I think Ward is a year away from being a solid CB in FA or a career vet-minimum or 2-3 million guy. He showed a lot of progress this year but also made a lot of mistakes. I'm not sure which Ward will be in the NFL next year but I think he gets a modest but solid deal in FA like 23-25 over 3 years.
  9. Charles averaged the NFL record YPC while being the entire offense himself and the defenses focusing on him. I just cannot imagine him playing with a QB like Mahomes and a solid passing game. Could break quite a few NFL records.
  10. I really like Cook but I would prioritize WR over RB at this point. If we can retain Williams and bring in a decent option in FA we should be fine at RB considering that CEH is still here for a while and we are going to pay for him regardless. I always thought a swing tackle in this draft was a mid to late round consideration but with Niang's health issues he may end up being the swing tackle after a relatively higher OT pick comes in as the RT.
  11. Just try to win as many games as possible and hopefully the SB in the end. Even though I want EB to land a job I couldn't care less about his future or those extra picks when compared to the SB run.
  12. Okay. Penny should be rather cheap as he needs to prove he can stay healthy to earn a real contract. I don't mind bringing him in but would prefer to hang on to Williams instead if he doesn't cost a lot. We had a major need for a big possession receiver for quite a while, don't know who'll be available in FA but the way WRs have been taking too long to develop in this regime I definitely prefer a veteran over a mid-late round rookie.
  13. Are you referring to a whole other guy than the Seahawks RB?
  14. Looking at the longest post I've seen in a while his play seems to make it reasonable.
  15. Well he earned 6 million over 4 years in his NFL career, I think almost tripling that paycheck should at least create some intrigue 🤔
  16. 18 over 5 years would be my limit but I would be more comfortable with something a bit less. Obviously it's all going to depend on the guarantees but we should look to avoid being in a situation where we are not comfortable with the compensation for a guy as critical as the LT.
  17. Watt could be a real problem. Not sure if we can actually double him but I'm pretty sure Smith will get some action against him as well. Haven't really seen Gore or McKinnon enough in pass protection to be sure but wouldn't be surprised if they struggle.
  18. Personally I would want him to stay. However I wouldn't want the Chiefs to give him something like Williams got last year. We did that to Fisher and never really got the return for our investment. If they want him to stay for the long term I would much rather tag him and earn the contract he'll likely be asking for as opposed to give it to him right away. Do you think Brown is worth more than 15-17 million per year at this point?
  19. I really like both Gore and McKinnon but neither is a threat in both the ground and in the air. Williams is the closest thing we have to a complete RB, it may not be as critical this week but he could be very critical going forward.
  20. Yep, Big Ben can't get rid of the ball fast enough and can't scramble. Pass rush will take care of him, just need to stop the run and occasional tackling from the secondary wouldn't hurt.
  21. Obviously they are never perfectly accurate but weather.com has some strong winds for Sunday night. Still it's the Steelers so we should be fine but I'm way too scared of injuries for future games in cold dry weather now.
  22. Would love to see a noon game as opposed to a freezing Sunday night but may be Reid decides to run the ball more. At least we have that extra time off which should help out the OL quite a bit.
  23. I would look to keep Ingram, Ward, Pringle, D Williams, Long, Burton, Nnadi, Gore, Watts. Don't want to give a big contract to them but I'm not sure if any of them would ask for it. Don't care about guys like Henne, Blythe, McKinnon, Bell, Reed, etc. HB and Brown are all about economics. I wouldn't pay top money to either so they should only stay for the right amount IMO. That's a bit tricky as HB will be 30 this year so will look for as much money as he can and Brown simply left Baltimore to maximize his market value. We should be staying away from Niemann, Dirty Dan, Robinson, Okafor, Hughes, but I suspect Robinson will somehow be back again.
