Not sure what happens on defense with HB out. If it's Sorenson getting the snaps I can see him being targeted for quite a bit of mistakes but Spags showed signs of moving away from him last week so there's some hope.

I doubt CEH gets serious touches with the bye coming up after so much time off. May be a few series but Williams is the likely starter and gets majority of the snaps.

Something this effortless could be a martial arts move.

OL fails from time to time but overall a great improvement compared to last year. I think they'll become a top OL by next year. So much progress in so little time is amazing.

We should be fine against a team that lost to Broncos at home.

Still using them too much in rotation but I guess even this is a great step forward.

Yet another example of a guy with questionable roster spot trying to do too much, at least it wasn't on offense as we are used to but definitely gave some hope to the Raiders.

Such a nail-biter Shows how capable our offense is a long as we don't stay in its way. The play-action worked like a charm even when everybody was waiting for the pass. I would have preferred to run more later in the game but I guess Reid wanted to boost the morale and confidence of the passing attack. 5 guys averaging 10+ yards per catch, interior DL getting to the QB, Sorensen sitting out more than usual, definitely a fun game to watch.

I don't think anyone is respecting the run at this point. That's why the offense is limited to "forced" plays the defense is expecting from us. The YPC is inflated by scrambles by Mahomes and the occasional hand-offs to Hill/Hardman but we are averaging 4 yards in run plays (including the option plays) and the numbers have been much worse over the last 4-5 weeks, hence the terrible offense.

2 of the 3 highest ranked rookies at the OL is a huge win and probably the reason for the rapid turnaround. Bolton leading all rookies in tackles with comparably less playing time is insane. Even if the rest of the rookies suck 3 solid pieces is still a successful draft IMO. Veach has come a long way.

Sounds like Packers are his choice but assuming he goes in another direction Chiefs make more sense than other teams mentioned.

It's a matter of economics. I doubt he gets an extension in the offseason without dominating the rest of the way and a tag would be more likely which could lead to a trade based on how much he meets the expectations.

The road to the playoffs go through the division so original Reid & Mahomes performance should get us there. If they don't show up no reason to contemplate any postseason future.

I like Gore but Williams as well. Both guys seem to do good in classical run plays but neither seem like the backs Reid wants to commit to. Can't say much about McKinnon as only see him in pass plays but whenever given the chance I think the RBs do a decent job.

They shouldn't stop taking downfield shots, keep the defenses honest and make the big plays whenever needed. Right now we seem to be always going for that deep shot or weird backfield plays, the offense has no rhythm to execute consistently. Go back to basics with snaps under center, run with the pro formation as well as 2 TE, 2-3 wideout sets and mix things up. Shotgun with RPO cr@p is pointless as the main form of offense as the RPO should just be an occasional play call from time to time.

The game starts with a perfect stop on defense and we run all over them in the first offensive drive. Easy TD which got a bit hard only because of the RPO BS with the 1st & 1. Then we come out abandoning the run completely and then trying to do pretty much anything that hasn't been working this year. I don't think there's an issue with the RBs, they have been very successful in this regime especially with EB around regardless of their origin. However we haven't been playing them in a way which has been working even in the same game. The receivers are a mess but that was expected with Hill and Kelce as the only targets but Mahomes used to make lame guys look productive when the defenses didn't know what we were going to do. Now everyone knows Reid won't run the ball more than a series and for whatever reason will try to make RPO stick. I'm glad the OL is coming around, that was the biggest issue and assuming we won't see Wylie going forward they will only get better. The defense seems to have found some identity and Gay & Bolton are becoming a decent duo.

I think Chiefs should be contemplating life after Reid at this point. Ever since his idiot son's accident he hasn't been the same guy and got even worse after leaving the stadium via ambulance. Looking back to the guy who was so excited to play with his new "toy" in Mahomes, the fire seems to be entirely gone and feels more in his way to retirement.
