I wouldn't waste time on Gilmore. He wanted the $$ and Pats didn't give it to him, I think he'll sign a long-term deal with the highest bidder at this point. Smith is the better option to go after and I don't think he would cost much as he needs to prove his worth.

I think we have some decent talent on defense but most of them aren't established guys. Wharton is a pretty good DT, Danna is a decent DE, etc. but neither is an established guy to look out for. We have a lot of those and they may be solid starters in a couple years but right now our #1 issue is lack of production from guys that are supposed to be leading the way such as Clark, Hitchens, etc. As an example I was never high on Breeland and his million penalties but when he was around he provided a specific attitude. We may get some of it back from the most overpaid guy on the roster once he gets back but at this point I wouldn't mind trading for some unsettled defenders up front.

Do they rank with specific positions like DE, DT or with position groups like DL or DB? I'm pretty sure we already have defenders that rank even lower than the backups for some other teams but if it's based on individual positions then we likely have the worst players in each position with a couple exceptions.

Personally I'm one of those that wanted this. Fix the OL and worry about the rest in the next offseason. Obvious coaching changes may have huge impact but other than that can't really fix everything in a single offseason.

If he was playing lights out in NE it would have been a big mistake in the front-office/coaching and even with his current performance I would prefer to keep Durant over Wylie but getting a pick in return is enough of a reason to look the other way.

Definitely looks like CEH's primary need was some dedication to the run game. Even Williams got some quality touches. Hope this keeps up and we keep Mahomes to "modest" plays

He plays more like the QB for the other team.

Probably the best fit for this offense. Let others run free when Fitz is providing the safe hands. Veach should have been all over him by now.

Not sure if it should be a TO but IMO yardage should be determined based on the spot of the foul (go back as many yards?). However NFL wants more offense and points, the whole idea would contradict what they have been trying to do over the last couple decades.

I don't think we need a top WR at this point. Hill and Kelce take care of the defense. We simply need some solid 2nd tier guys that average around 700 yards a season with some consistency. If we could find a couple guys that can get the job done it would provide some redundancy in case of injuries as well. I don't think we have the picks or the patience to draft a WR that will have an impact in 2022 but we should definitely focus on adding a couple decent options in FA.

Our #1 advantage was the ST and turnovers. So far this year both have been major issues, especially the TOs. There seems to be some urgency in the way offense has been playing even when it's not warranted.

Mahomes can do wrong, the problem is that the entire offense is on his shoulders so anything he does wrong is fatal.

Wind and basically 2 receiving options it's definitely a tough one, but if anyone can do it we have him at QB.

Kelce is basically the only option, the rest need to step up more but we basically broke the turnover record of any month during this regime in a couple weeks.

Just love seeing the pro formation more and more. Even the weird RPO seems to work in this setup.
