  1. Hill went down against the Bill, even though he was active in both he was rested more often than not against the Jets. Watkins was out though.
  2. It was the OL that killed us but in case of a similar situation having better weapons around will only help. Hardman's best game in 2020 was either the Jets (:D) or the Ravens game when he had 7 for 96 and 4 for 81 respectively. 1 TD in each game. Overall he finished with 5 TDs and 3 fumbles in the year. Robinson's best game seems like the Jets game when he had 4 for 63 with a TD. I don't think either player is trustworthy. I have higher expectations from Hardman due to his speed and utility capabilities but honestly I don't trust either of them to be a real threat at any point of the season. For some reason they both seem to find a way to get worse each year. With the small sample size Pringle is our 2nd best WR and Powell might be worth something but I would definitely upgrade the receivers if possible.
  3. Gilmore is a solid CB but at 31 that's too much to give up for him. I would rather stick to giving up a conditional late pick for Harry. Definitely hasn't earned anything more so far.
  4. I hope we won't have much against him in negotiations, and won't regret the new contract in the foreseeable future.
  5. Never heard of him until I picked him up in the fantasy league as an early round rookie bust. Don't know what his true level is but wouldn't care if Veach decides to give up a conditional pick or something to see if he can play.
  6. If we consider nickel as the base scheme then Gay is the obvious candidate but in the 4-3 setup I think Bolton will shine as early as this year. Then again I have been wrong about most rookies in the defensive front 7 in this regime.
  7. It's probable, however unlikely, to win the SB with a guy like Smith that gets the franchise to the playoffs every year. It's not ideal as luck is definitely a big factor and the rest of the roster has to be very good so an elite QB is the easiest way to get there but a lot of franchises would love to be just competitive enough to make it beyond the regular season.
  8. Given enough time and a decent running game a mediocre QB will lead the team to the playoffs more often than not, good approach IMO.
  9. I've heard that name come up a couple times as a scary player for DCs. He could be the real deal 🤔
  10. That's a huge deal. I was expecting to give Brown something around that but being on the left side I'm not sure what he'll ask for now. The cap better go up soon. The key is his performance, if he performs at a top-5 LT level whatever we give him will be reasonable, but if he ends up just being average we could struggle quite a bit.
  11. So according to the article we are better off rolling with Robinson and Hardman 🤔 Everyone would choose a guy like JuJu over Fitz but we don't have such options right now, not even sure if there's anyone comparable to Fitz on the market either.
  12. Well you sure don't want to trigger any reactions from Clark.
  13. Fitz would be complementing Kelce IMO. Could play either the X or the slot easily with those hands and let Hill roam free. Not sure about Noah yet but with him and Powell around as late round rookies such a vet would be very useful as a 1-year option.
  14. I think he's the perfect guy to come in and lead the receivers in KC. Still has perfect hands and we lack a possession receiver, I would imagine it's a perfect match.
  15. So far it failed with JuJu and I guess Trent Williams but that could change rather soon. JuJu is too young to be lured with just the promise of a ring and Williams seems to be more focused on the money. That being said the prospect of a ring may not be as powerful of a variable in the equation as some of us (like me) think.
  16. Definitely something to bounce back from but at DeCastro's age I'm not sure if he would be inclined to do so or how long it would take after the surgery. Any surgery is much harder for linemen due to size but the prospect of a ring could get him back.
  17. Too bad Washington already took the awesome title of "Football Team", probably need something else. Kansas City Football Crew or Kansas City not-Soccer Gang?
  18. The KC logo looks good but may be with a different color scheme, the other looks more like a spear than an arrow and definitely a knock-off from FSU.
  19. The badges look good but I don't like the dominant white.
  20. I think the privilege to do stupid $hit of the field has to be earned annually. 2019 Clark earned it in the playoffs but I'm not sure about the 2020 Clark 🤔
  21. If Smith isn't ready to take over from LDT I would definitely look to bring a healthy DeCastro as the stop gap. Could push LDT to backup role and Wylie out of the roster.
  22. I think it was all about the personal aspect of lying. Kareem lied to Clark Hunt and Clark probably had to make a statement to the entire organization about such things.
  23. In Hunt's case the video came out and he was proven to be a liar. When you are proven to be a liar to your boss all the bets are off. I think that was the primary difference between Hunt and Hill. In case of Clark there are charges but he's still not convicted of anything, so I don't mind the Chiefs waiting on the legal process before making the final decision. In fact it might be the smartest move if a conviction could lead to some cap savings. However the front office likely has ways of learning more about the whole thing that we do so I think they'll make a decision once allegations become facts.
