  1. No idea but some will likely emerge closer to the draft. So far the reports are very limited and mostly focused on the top prospects.
  2. With a decent Safety playing close to the box Hitchens & Gay could be a decent LB duo next year. Still need a solid guy to add to the mix but replacing Dirty Dan with a decent guy might make a huge difference.
  3. No team will enter camp with a single guy so they will bring someone in. I think Fox would have stuck around if it wasn't for a great guy in front of him but if someone like him comes around that they feel is better than Townsend I'm guessing the staff would make the move. The one thing I like about the current staff is that they let Speaks leave in favor of others that deserved to stick around. I doubt they would hold back for Townsend if the same circumstances occur.
  4. Townsend definitely has some nice leg power but the learning curve may have been steeper for him than usual. A weaker Colquitt would have done a better job all year long but we would need to go through the learning curve of a new punter eventually. He wasn't a difference maker by no means (negative or positive) but I don't know about his impact on Butker's terrible performance.
  5. I think he was on the IR until a few weeks ago. Not sure about his health right now.
  6. When you say "1st + later pick" how late is that pick? I wouldn't mind sending him for a relatively early 1st + a 2nd plus a decent but not great player in an area of need.
  7. Good thing is they are set at the OL so our priorities won't clash for a short while.
  8. I could try to start a movement in Seattle to fire Solari but could take some time 🤔
  9. At 31 he might be looking for a long term deal but should at least try to get him on a 1-year deal.
  10. Agree completely. The OL improvement has been very dismal with Heck in charge, a solid OL coach needs to be brought in. Just look at what a change at coaching did for our DBs.
  11. Mack > Kelce. Better player and doesn't have a ring so no brainer. He deserves every penny of the vet minimum in KC.
  12. I think those were part of the recovery but in the end I still have doubts until I see him in TC. Hurting both knees at the same time is probably the most Chiefs injury possible
  13. Definitely nothing towards Chiefs or Andy. However I would imagine the Reid family would take care of the financial aspect of the whole thing, the lawsuits will come no matter what but that's the other story. I don't know what liability insurance does in such situations, do they pay up even in case of DUI?
  14. Yep, I got the notion that it was more like pre-retirement. Already earned quite a bit of money and got a ring so might not be trying to come back with that mysterious back.
  15. I was very hopeful for Taco this year similar to Ogbah in 2019. Looks like he might get another shot in KC with the familiarity and the probable lack of interest in FA. Osemele is likely done with football but we'll see. I think the same could be said for Schwartz.
  16. I agree this is the build it or deal with the huge issues of the OL. Pushed back for quite a while.
  17. He also left Veach with the best player in the NFL. Both Fisher and Schwartz did well when on the field, Veach simply had to fix the interior OL and prepare for the replacement of these aging guys and watch Mahomes light the NFL on fire. 2018 draft was a total waste when there was no OC on the roster but Reiter, Wasted quite a few picks on other guys as well while the IOL kept being the biggest weakness.
  18. It's a matter of timing to close the book. I'm not happy with DOD's progress either but can't fix them all at once and DOD seems like a better rotational guy than some on the roster. Wouldn't rely on him being a starter but should be around with his rookie deal IMO.
  19. Not sure if we were ever set at OL. Chiefs have been playing without a real OC for 2 seasons, nothing at LG and a rapidly declining RG for about 3 years. We simply spent a late 3rd for Niang and a 7th for Allegretti to address those issues (including lack of a swing tackle). I always thought Dorsey did a very good job of finding linemen. I don't like his resignings like Fisher with 2 more years under control, and LDT but looking back he did care about Smith's safety. LT - 1st overall for Fisher OG - Traded for a known commodity in Grubbs, drafted Fulton, LDT, Ehinger OC - 2nd for Morse RT - Signed the best in the NFL in FA at a young age I think we need a similar approach for the OL and more importantly have continuous upgrades which is the primary issue right now as we have neglected the line for a few years now and need a bunch of bodies there.
  20. I would imagine Reid or his son would take care of the hospital bills, the money raised can be spent on something else the child could need.
  21. That's what Dirty Dan is. He comes up with huge plays from time to time and definitely makes an impact but he's also a consistent liability.
  22. Tough to say anything based on Reid's personality or the past. Having issues with your kids definitely have some major impact for any parent so it's impossible to know what a parent would do under such circumstances. Some people retire at unexpected times due to family issues and I wouldn't rule out Reid seeing his job as a distraction from his family that leads to such an outcome but in general he seems to have been through too much with his family to retire very easily.
  23. We don't really need much to dominate for the next decade. Just put the biggest meanest line in front of Mahomes and he'll take care of the rest.
  24. He tried to but the coaches didn't let him. 9 rushes from a guy who's doing a decent job of it is just pathetic.
