  1. Hopefully by the playoffs rather than waiting for next year. I know they like Robinson for some reason but Pringle is much better in every area of the game and looks like our best blocker since Conley in the open field.
  2. The only positive for offense is probably seeing Pringle back. Not that he's a star or anything but way ahead of both Robinson and Hardman as a receiver. He'll be a RFA after this season but I hope they bring him back definitely #3 WR right now and has the upside to be #2 down the line.
  3. I don't think it's a surprise for anyone, there's always the chance of a solid team sneaking in as the 7th but everyone talked about how meaningless last week would be for better teams that have nothing to gain. I'm not sure if they earn anything extra in terms of TV money but the last week will probably be useless for quite a while.
  4. I don't really care as we should be able to win against anyone. My order of toughest opponents would be Bills -> Titans -> Ravens -> Colts> Steelers -> Browns -> Miami Frankly there's no team in there that scares me in the playoffs.
  5. Screw the bonus. He should have earned it in a game that matters and with the cap situation coming up I don't think we should waste any of it on a bonus coming up in a meaningless game.
  6. I wouldn't pencil in the last game as a definite loss. Regardless I wouldn't mind resting everyone, some freak injuries are too much to handle in some situations.
  7. I think it's about time he changes that mindset. A brick wall in front of Mahomes is much more useful at this point and we have been adding maulers to the bunch lately.
  8. Ryan Sims Jonathan Baldwin Both deserve serious consideration.
  9. Lamar Hunt & Hank Stram are locks IMO. It's very tough to eliminate any single name from the huge list that deserves a spot one way or the other.
  10. No doubt Rodgers is a stud but his MVP season is basically a down year for Mahomes in quite a bit of games. NFL should be and probably is looking for some competition for Mahomes to keep up the TV money.
  11. Well he has been running away from defenses rather well so I think he's healthy but no need to risk any injuries. Regarding the MVP season I think anyone not named Mahomes would have won it with his play & stats. However it's always better for the NFL to make others look at the same level and create an illusion of competition for the best.
  12. 3 weeks off is a long time but I understand not taking the risk with Mahomes. We are one injury away from missing out on the SB so no need to take pointless risks. It's weird to know that Mahomes would have likely been the MVP if he played the last game as well but not that important for the Chiefs IMO. Hunt didn't pay him for MVP trophies.
  13. Always liked red on red as they look mean but don't think that combo ever brought us luck, or I simply don't remember it.
  14. I don't know about the price tag but I think Marvin Jones makes a lot of sense as a player. Can play as a possession receiver as well as go deep on the outside and would definitely want to play for Mahomes. The big issue is his age IMO. At 31 he might not be in a position to play a year for a lame deal as his value will simply go down at 32. So he'll likely be looking for a long term deal that will be his last paycheck.
  15. With the exception of QB I think any player in the first two rounds should be starting from day one and have positive impact. I think he was a bad pick in that regard and the Chiefs having him in 3-4 for two years made it much worse. He came up as a great athlete but that's generally guys to draft later on. If we wasted less 2nd round picks in the last few draft we could probably have a solid OL or LB group at this point.
  16. Over the last two weeks our OL hasn't been able to form a pocket against 3-4 guys rushing. The biggest issue right now is that their success disrupted Mahomes' relatively comfortable stance and he's not making as good decisions as he did before.
  17. He's basically what they expected from Speaks in this system. Decent in run and coverage but not really a pass rusher that will get sacks. He does a good job of disrupting the pocket and getting pressure but doesn't have that finesse to finish it off. Definitely an upgrade over Ford on the edge. A one-trick pony that turned out to be very shaky with that trick once put in another environment.
  18. Kpass is an athletic freak, so it wouldn't be a surprise but too tough to tell.
  19. Hopefully we'll have even newer LG, OC, RG next year but with some talent for a change.
  20. Andy calls the plays but not sure if his day-to-day routine allows so many details. Definitely needs some solid guys to delegate.
  21. OC in 1st, OG in 2nd, OT in 3rd and we can somehow relax with the half-billion guy. Also needs to utilize the pro formation more, seems to be the only thing that worked on offense.
  22. Ugliest win in recent history. Hopefully we see a decent OL next week to go on to the playoffs.
  23. Robinson and Hardman are replicas of each other. They are both terrible but somehow find a way to make a play to justify not being cut.
  24. Is it only me or did interior look much better against pressure with Kilgore in both throws?
