    I think they will start to create new stars so a player like Murray could win the MVP by doing less than Mahomes. Mayfield vs Mahomes was supposed to be the new rivalry and that failed, LJ is useless, Wilson is talented but not consistent as his salary has them relying way too much on youngsters.

    He's not totally a bust at CB. His performance simply isn't starter level, if he bounces back that's even better for us as we have him for another year. However upgrades are always great. We were 9-0 with Smith at QB in 2013.

    AFC West added some speed which may have triggered the pick but I think he's one of those raw guys that could help out in the 2nd or 3rd year, if not it's not a big investment.

    RFA, so I think he'll be back on a decent team friendly contract if some other GM isn't high on him after last year's performance. So far I think he has played at a decent backup level this year but definitely not confident in him starting right now. Could improve though.

    Breeland might not get the offers he wants in FA similar to this year. I can see him coming back on a similar deal. Ward was great last year but made quite a few mistakes so far, Chiefs still have him for another year so I think he'll be back but the tender might not be that high so some other team could snatch him. Either way another CB to upgrade either player would be very useful even though it's not as much of a priority as OL or LB.

    Should be on a plane for the physical right now. Get up to speed in the bye week and get into action in week 10.

    I trust Wylie, he won't let us down. Reiter also has earned my trust in that area but Reid seems to like a bit of a challenge on the field.

    In the short term it benefits us but I think it's still stupid. NFL owners and coaches only focus on success which brings them more money and I doubt they look at skin color to avoid making money in a sports that already pays more in total to minorities than it does to white people. The idea of compensation for developed coaches makes sense IMO but doing that only for minorities is racist in itself.

    Mahomes behind that line would be Madden on easy setting.

    We could definitely use Willie Lanier right now, not even sure if any RBs would want to take the handoff. A healthy DJ at his prime would be nice as well.

    I think I've heard them ask the last one a couple weeks ago, Reid said that's why they traded up for Mahomes.

    Gay would have stopped 2 TD drives if it wasn't for CJ.

    Start Kilgore and sign Wiz assuming he's healthy and we should have a much improved line. Once Schwartz and Rankin get back it'll be a decent group up front for the SB push.

    Wow that's a long read. I always thought Elway was similar to Aikman, winning SBs with the staff around him but stepping up in critical situations but he seems to have been a bit further away from the elite category.

    I know Elway had a wild arm but that's a terrible TD-INT ratio.
