    He's a free agent and will likely get his last contract. If he's actually a solid guy then he'll be paid much higher somewhere else.

    Dirty Dan will hopefully be gone next year and with Thornhill's status we may actually have a big need at Safety unless someone steps up as a solid contributor this year. That being said CB will obviously be a huge need as well as OL but we thought they were a priority this year too so tough to guess.

    That's why I think TC very critical this year. Most vets probably worked out with their people over the pandemic but the real conditioning happened during camp. Teams that do a better job of it will definitely benefit during the season but nevertheless the injuries will definitely go up. Not to mention an extra pro game means another game to get injured.

    I think he'll be a solid player but Pennel was mostly a beast against the run. With such a weird offseason it would be nice to have an established guy out there to begin the season.

    Just curious in general rather than the TItans, are there state rules that limit the number or prevent teams from admitting fans?

    We save 175K, that's about a thousand times more than what we had to begin the offseason and extended a bunch of guys.

    When was the last time Chargers had so many fans in a single game? Looks like it'll be Mahomes sweepstakes all year long.

    Over the years I've seen quite a bit of guys that do pretty well in the preseason to be left out of the final roster in favor of those that didn't show half as much. So I think the camp itself may be the bigger indicator but the preseason games probably have some role (may be major?) in the final decision as well.

    We have 200 million in cap liabilities for 2021 and probably won't carry more than 10 million over. Unless the cap goes up we'll actually be restructuring contracts and cutting people to even make it to the cap. Even though Chiefs have very small number of 30+ players we still won't be able to keep everyone around and if the 30+ guys are added to the mix there'll be major need to replace them with rookie deals.

    Looks like a Spags-type DE now. Last year was a mess in terms of the photos.

    They were expecting Niang to start as early as this year but now we have to make up by other means and the rotation doesn't look as deep either. We'll have some fixes for sure but Niang definitely drifted out of the plan.

Definitely below market for a TE of his caliber but I guess the early extension got Veach some discount.

    So he gets an average of 14 million starting from age 33 but could only be guaranteed the first two years if the deal is structured as most in the past. Interesting but too early IMO.

    Wow they must be thinking he'll age like Gonzo or Gates. A bit risky IMO as we still have time but I'm guessing not too much guarantees, but who knows.

    I doubt it unless they want to clear some cap space. You don't give a new deal to a 30-year old guy with micro-fracture surgery in his past. I think they look to extend him next year.

    It's always the year to trade away picks and apparently LTs as there is always enough incentive to go for some picks or specific players.

    It would be really cool to get rid of the stupid Thursday games but not sure if the contracts allow that. Regardless no college football would probably mean even more ratings for the NFL.

    NFL tends to adjust to running QBs rather quickly. Other than that I think they'll be solid.

    He looked more like a NT last year. Great to see him fit this time around. 3rd year is definitely the key for him.

    Definitely risky for him but looks good for us if Kpass or Speaks can carve out a big role. We have some solid rotation there. Also Okafor is 29 so he could be hoping for a big deal before the critical age.

    NO in dome means Mahomes in dome, no worries there. Just let the kids run loose and Mahomes will keep bombarding all game long.

    I think it's more of Okafor investing in himself. He can become a FA next year but doesn't give info about his guarantees if he stays.
