Well, let me think on that. Probably 1991 against OAK with DeBerg vs Marinovich. Probably WC 1994 with Joe Montana vs PIT. Not sure he was better than Jim Kelly and Warren Moon at the time either. We beat HOU but got drubbed by BUF in the AFCCG. After that, we never had the superior QB in any playoff games.

I actually wouldn't mind facing PIT in the 1st round(unless we get a bye), that way we can pound on them and send them home so they can see how it feels to try and win a game with a much inferior QB.

Actually looking at it again, there's at least 4-5 different scenarios than can play out between HOU, TEN and PIT being the 4th, 5th and 6th seeds.
It could even end up being TEN winning the South with HOU being the 6th seed still.

Reid can scheme up plays on offense to get Hill the ball instead of a KR or PR.

Depends on the exact situation but, odds are it will just get called back for a penalty anyway. What's the penalty % on a return? It's gotta be more than 50% of all returns get called back for holding or a block in the back.
With our offense we need to play it safe a majority of the time on returns to avoid a penalty costing us field position and to avoid a turnover.

He's too valuable to the pass offense to risk getting hurt on a return.
Hardman has been fine. In all honesty they shouldn't even attempt a KR or PR unless they have to; Like having a kickoff caught at the 1 or whatever fo no TB. Fair catch every punt and avoid the penalty on the return.

PIT has to go 0-2 and TEN has to go 2-0 in order for TEN to get in. If PIT wins 1, TEN is out

Pittsburgh just has to win 1 of their next 2 to get in and Tennessee can't get in.

He's not THAT bad against the run. They'd easily get a 1st and a 3rd IMO. Similar to Jared Allen trade.

exactly. Also, due to injuries, the Chiefs have had to shuffle their OL lineup all season and just as we got Rankin up to speed, he got hurt and is out for the season.

G. Dieter signed back to PS.

IMO, Thornhill and Hardman alone make it a B grade. Emergence of Saunders and Fenton could push it as high as A- and we have Allegretti to develop at C or G.

I was critical of Veach and the past 2 drafts earlier this year, but even last year's draft may provide some quality depth down the road and those guys from 2018's class still deserve a chance to show something.
This year's draft is working out perfectly.
The 2020 draft for KC only holds 5 picks so it will be interesting to see if Veach and KC trade down or just stand pat with 5 picks.

For the injuries they have, yes.

according to Football Outsiders and DVOA rankings, KC has the 2nd hardest schedule in the league. They've only played 2 teams with a losing record at the time of the game.
