I want to see us keep Sammy. Hopefully they can restructure his contract so we have more cap space. Sammy was more important to us winning in the playoffs & during the regular season than a lot of us gave him credit for. I don’t know if we win the AFCC or the SB w/o him. I would not cut Sammy in exchange for Dez.

I tried posting a picture of the parade route, but it says the file size is too big. Some asshole just drove down the parade route & got cornered by 10-15 police vehicles. Nearly took out dozens of bystanders along the parade route at Grand & Pershing.

I think we can rework Watkins' contract to gain more space. Can we restructure to give him more bonus next year? I've said on here a few times: I watched the highlights from every game this year and I think Watkins is much more valuable than a lot of us give him credit for. I do not think we win the SB without Jones playing. His presence was big. I'm ok with Ward & Fenton. They were excellent this year. I'd like to see us sign 2 out of the 3 CBs you listed (or at least 1 of the 3). I don't think we need Claiborne. The dude was inactive for several games this year.

My wife's office is right on the parade route by Crown Center. Her firm is closed for the day, but is letting employees and their families come in to watch the parade. I am taking my 6, 13, and 17 year old sons with my wife. She has a parking garage at her office and we have to be there between 6am & 7am. I was debating not going due to the annoyingly large crowds. However, given the ease in which we can go watch the parade from her office, I am not going to miss this historic event. I have waited 40 years to celebrate this and did not think I would experience it during my lifetime. I will bring some cold weather gear and brave the 2 block walk to watch the festivities.

I said this on another thread. He is underrated.... I watched the highlights on every game this year.... the guy had some clutch plays many times. Also, he came up big in the SB & AFCC. He had a hand in both victories with some key plays.

I rewatched the entire season highlights for 2019 yesterday. I was wrong about Watkins & I think a lot of us were. He made a lot of plays for us this year.
